Scattergun Technology Mag Extension A+
Well made product and easy to install. Dremeled the dimples from inside the magazine and if done carefully, they can be leveled from the inside without perforating the outside of the magazine. Product installs easily and loading and extraction performed flawlessly.

Great.
The finish of this mag extension is better than the finish on the Remington TAC14. This is a quality part. For new Remington shotguns, magazine tube dimples have to be removed, but that is a fairly easy process. On a TAC14 this adds 1 round of capacity in the magazine, and extends the magazine tube nearly flush with the barrel, but does not extend past the muzzle. Looks great!

TAC-14 Now Has PLUS 1
I have used Scattergun Technologies Shotguns and parts professionally for over 20 years and I have yet to have any failures. Their accessories are well made and well engineered, with most being T&E's in the field during their development. NOTE: You will need to remove the Mag Tube "Dimples" that Engineers added to the Express plastic mag spring cap design for dumb people who cannot handle compressed springs, (the old spring steel retainer in 870P worked just fine), I used the XS SIGHT SYSTEMS p/n 006-000-119WB Magazine Tube Detent Swage.. Just follow the instructions and use plenty of CLP or Lube Oil to help in the swaging process. Now the Tac-14 has a capacity of 5+1, a upgraded magazine spring and follower and a front sling mount. I also added the G&GG side sling mount in front of the factory Shockwave pistol grip.

Great for Tac 14
Well made & fits the Tac 14 perfect with swivel stud removed. Easy to install & to remove dimples on the newer Remington shotguns. Once installed it is flush to the barrel muzzle.

Fit for duty
I purchased this mag extention for my Remington 870 Police shotgun. I've used it for for over 5 years now, both on duty and during tactical firearms training with no problems to date. I would (and have) trusted my life with it. Don't settle for the cheaper brands of mag extensions. Get one that will last.

Exactly what I was looking for
I have both a Mossberg 500A (happily mine has the correct magazine tube for this to work) as well as a Remington 870. Both are defensive shotguns and were both 4 round magazine tubes. This product gives me 5 rounds each as well as a high visibility follower. The lock washer provided does an adequate job keeping it tight. The stud is held on by a simple snap ring and is easily removed.

Well built, easy install
Installed on a late model, Rem Express Tactical Synthetic (the one with the one piece, factory six round mag, no Ghost rings, no breacher extension. Passed the first test: made in U.S.A., install was only made difficult by having to modify the shotgun magazine tube. Functions as desired although an adjustment to the included, longer magazine spring may be required, but further break-in may eliminate the need. This extension will add 4-5/16 inches to the length of the shotgun described herein. Yes, it looks quite funky, but I couldn't justify going with a single shell extension for close to the same money as the two shell model. I like the follower much better than the factory one, much more solid and smoother. The finish is nice, not a perfect match to the Remy but close enough for horse shoes... and shotguns. If I weren't so impressed overall, I was tempted to take at least one star off for the condition of this extension I received. It was down-right filthy, as if sprayed down with a heavy coat of oil, mistaken for an oily spot on a mechanic's floor and doused with a couple scoops of Sorb-all or kitty litter. Yes it was that gritty. The divets or detents around the end of the knurled portion were jammed with this grit and it was literally all over the inside and outside. Wilson or Scattergun orta be ashamed for letting something in this shape, out of their house. A good Saturday night bath in mineral spirits (literally) got it right with the Lord though. As I awaited shipment of this extension, I was a bit apprehensive about the magazine tube having enough length and threads to support this part. Due to the factory six shot capacity and the placement of the barrel guide ring (my theory anyway). But once I began attaching the extension, the tolerance was so "tight?", it fit as if it were a factory part. I wasn't sure if the parts kit would include a wave washer, it did. So, I'm quite pleased, and despite how dirty this thing was upon arrival, I'd still buy it again, and could with clear conscious, recommend it to a friend who wanted a bobble like this, WITH the warning of course, he better have the wash tub, brush and mineral spirits ready.

Really nice
This thing is built like a tank. Went right together.

Heavy duty, excellent construction
This magazine extension is SOLID. It actually seems a bit sturdier than the shotgun itself, and that's saying something. After drilling out the dimples and then using a small file to remove the remaining bumps and rough edges, this went in perfectly. At first I thought they had sent the wrong spring because it is so long, but checking the Wilson Combat website revealed that this was intentional - it's an upgrade over the factory spring. At first I thought it wasn't working right. I had just bought some Saf-T-Trainers as well and was using them to test the feeding of the magazine extension. I kept getting double feeds, and one time it even tried to feed three shells at once. I thought the spring was too strong. Once I switched to real shotgun shells, though, I had zero problems - so the problem is with the Saf-T-Trainers, not the magazine extension.
