Great replacement part
As someone that had the factory part fail early in a round of sporting clays I believe with the fit and quality of this part I will not have to think about that every again. The part works so well I retrofitted 4 additional shotguns as well.
Less Trouble Than The Factory Follower
I bought this one and some plastic followers for comparison. This one slides through the magazine without resistance. My magazine tube was already modified to accept the old style of follower and spring retainer.
Excellent upgrade to 870
This follower was very easy to install. did not have to perform any adjustments or modifications. simply unscrew the barrel, remove the spring and plastic dowel, remove plastic follower and install new one.
No More Feed Issues with my 870
I was having feed issues on my 870 with the factory plastic follower in an extended tube. I installed this and I get perfect feeding every time.

Great product
Have this follower in my 870 for sometime with zero issues. Quality, fit and finish is what I expect from Hans Vang and he has not let me Down. It's a great product, easy to see and feel if wearing gloves, very smooth in the feed tube. You can't go wrong upgrading from Cheap plastic follower that the Remington 870 comes with to the Vang.

Not much to say about this one. It just works. Vang comp is now offering followers that are slotted for dimpled 870s. I have the brownells stainless follower in one 870 and this one in another. I prefer the vang comp because of the hole that is easy to feel when wearing gloves but they are both quality and reliable.
Great Replacement
The old original follower was black plastic, could not see it, this one is bright SS, you can tell instantly when the tube is empty.
A good improvement
I installed this a few days ago and it is smoother to load shells. You will have to grind off the two demples in the mag tube before incerting the follower. This was no problem using a dremel type tool.
Nice follower
The only negative I can find is that I prefer the Brownells stainless and aluminum followers but this is also a quality part. Much better than the factory plastic piece.
