Excellent Follower

Overall this follower is great and highly recommended. It functions so much smoother than the original plastic garbage that comes with the 870. It is important to note that if your 870 have the dimples on the magazine tube, they need to be removed before you can use this follower (by either grinding them off or pressing them out with the proper tool). It is also important to note that this follower will hang up if you're using a tube extension and there is any kind of gap between the guns tube and the extensions tube. If you use a 2 piece tube extension design (tube and nut separate pieces like the Remington branded extensions) be sure to screw your extension all the way down until it contacts the guns tube and then torque the nut. Tube extensions with the nut built onto them (Nordic, Carlsons, Choat, etc) may have problems with this follower (or any other aftermarket follower). If you're not comfortable working on guns, then have a qualified gunsmith fit this part and remove the tube dimples for you.
