Great fit
It fit my 870 like a glove. I had no problem putting it on .
Wimp can now shoot his 12 gauge!
I accompanied a friend to a gun store in 1994, because he was interested in buying a 12 gauge Remington 870 Express with an 18 inch barrel. They showed him the model, and I was shocked that it only cost $280! (remember this was back in 1994). After he handled and inspected the gun he indicated to the salesperson that he wanted to purchase the shotgun. As the store clerk was going to the stockroom to retrieve his gun I suddenly said "make it two"! My friend laughed at me because I just purchased a shotgun completely on impulse. We of course wanted to shoot them right away, so the clerk asked us what type of ammo we wanted. My friend knew that the range we were going to only allowed shotgunners to fire slugs. Now slugs come 5 to a box. So I said give me 10 boxes! I planned on firing all 10 boxes at the range. My friend, 6'6" and 400 pounds just laughed at me, as if he knew something I didn't. When we got to the range I loaded the gun and fired my first shotgun ever. I got two shots off, and turned to my friend and asked him did he think I could return the gun? Of course, he laughed at me again. Long story short....in 23 years I fired that shotgun less than 20 times. It was simply too painful for me. After watching videos of women on YouTube using this stock on their Remington 870's, with no issues, I decided to buy one and try it out. Last week I fired 3" magnum 000 buck shot, 00 buckshot, No. 4 buckshot, No.71/2 dove and quail shot and at least 20 full power slugs in one session. In total, I fired over 50 rounds in one afternoon, mostly slugs. Guys this stock works! I fired more rounds in one afternoon than I did in all 24 years previously. I no longer fear my shotgun! It was so much fun shooting it. I just ordered 250 more slugs online, and can not wait until they get here. This is a long review, I know. My shotgun used to injure me when I fired it. It didn't just cause discomfort. My shoulder after two or three slugs was black and blue and sore for two weeks....no fun! This stock has seriously put an END to that!
It should be very versatile for all!
I got this to make it a bit easier to use for family in the house that range from 5'2" to 6'2". It looks great and from what I have seen it looks like it should be very versatile for all to use if the need should arise for defence or when we try it out on the range soon.
