Mag
Worked great no problems
Im going to order more.
They work well in my 7600, cycle well no jams. Better than mega mags and national mags. Dont pay $200 for them in [...], buy from here. Dont forget to get your B709a import forms before you order one.
great mags
Bought 2 of these mags for my 7600 They work better than any other 10 round mag out there.. After cycling a few mags, they feed really good!
Bought 2; will buy more
Need to run a couple of full mags worth of ammo through 'em, but afterward they are very reliable. Very solid.
"Judge for yourself"
After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to order one of these mags for my Remington 740 in .308; but I went ahead anyway. I installed it as soon as I received it and it went in snug with no play in it. But, when I tried to remove it. I couldn't. I thought I was going to need the services of a gunsmith to get it out. After fighting with it for a bit, it came out with some effort. The front nub on the mag had some of the finish rubbed off where it was hanging up along with where the mag release catches on the back of the mag. I installed and removed the mag several times with it getting easier everytime. Finally I loaded 10 rds. in the mag; inserted in the rifle and cycled the action until the mag was empty. No failures to chamber or failures to eject for 10 rds. Now I need to take it up to the range and see how it does. As of now I'm happy with it. If it held the bolt back when empty I would have given it 5 stars. I'm ordering 1 more.
Works ok?
Bought this for Rem 742. The fit is rather tight, making insert and removal difficult. It feeds well in my limited use to date. Mine came with a loose mystery piece, it appears to be a spacer for the front end of the mag, bullet tip end? As I said it works well enough so Im ok with the pocket part. In case you are considering, know it is not a larger version of the mag that come with the rifle as it doesnt have a bolt release lever. Not a deal breaker for me, but make sure to set your expectations accordingly. The 742 is not a tack driver rifle so this 10 rd mag makes multiple follow up shots a possibility!
Prevents bolt from retracting
I purchased one magazine for my Rem 7400 243. I loaded it easily with 10 rds and headed to the woods. The mag snapped into place with no issues, but when I attempted to load the first round, I could not pull the bolt back far enough to clear the bullet. The bolt was dragging on something and wouldn't move past 50% open. I am sitting in the stand now using the factory magazine, so I havent had a chance to figure out what to do to repair the issue
Don't waste your money
I bought two of these magazines for a new Remington 750 in cal .308 Win. Neither work. I fired about 100 rounds through each. I was faced with constant failure to feed problems with the second or third round, even when I loaded only 4-5 cartridges. The problem seems to stem from the magazine coming loose at the front end. The tab is punched into the sheet metal and is not pronounced enough. TIG welding a tab recommended.
Waste of money
Im pretty upset I even wasted money on this magazine. Causes the gun to jam every other round.
