This kit includes the Sinclair Remington Firing Pin Removal Tool, Remington Ejector Compressor Tool, Remington Mainspring Tool and Remington Bolt Maintenance Bench Block. All the tools needed to remove the firing pin assembly, replace the firing pin assembly, remove and/or change ejectors and springs and otherwise maintain your Remington 700 Bolt. Fits Remington 700, 40X 600, Model 7, XP-100, XR-100, 722, plus Kelbly Stolle actions. Does not work with the 770 or 40X rimfire actions.

A must have for M700s

Makes bolt maintenance a breeze! The only things that ever go wrong on a M700 are the bolt and trigger; keep those maintained and only a hammer is more reliable.

Simplifies bolt disassembly.

Important for cleaning. Although I have stripped the bolt before this tool kit makes it easy, both taking it apart and putting it back together. Setting headspace with go/no go gauges is best done, really must be done, with the bolts firing pin and ejector removed. This makes those tasks take seconds. As other reviews said it would be nice if the punches needed were part of the kit. Not an issue to me but others might appreciate it. Buy it. Make life easier.
