Quick Delivery!
Great powder… good price… delivered to door.
Very Nice for 1 oz. 12 Gauge Target Loads
Recently loaded up several hundred 1 oz 12 Gauge Target loads for Sporting Clays.
Nearly identical results to my Perfect Pattern loads. Approximately 1150 to 1200 feet per second
Light recoil for 100 round of Sporting Clays and up to 200 on a practice day.
Burns clean and meters well in my SL 900 Dillon Progressive Press.
Standard Clay Buster 1 oz wad and AA hulls.
I'm looking forward to using Red Dot more.
Perfect Pattern works well too, but I need to use a longer 7/8th oz gray wad with that denser powder.
Would you recommend this?
Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Red Dot
First time I saw it for a long time.
Thanks
12 gauge clay target mainstay
I've been loading Red Dot since the 60's, still my first choice for 12 ga 7/8 to 1 1/8 oz. clay target ammo, very consistent.
Red Dot
I load quite bit of Red Dot in .38 Special with 148 grain wadcutters and 158 grain LSWC. A relatively fast powder that I use instead of Bullseye because it is "fluffier" and gives a little better case fill. Brownells shipping is fast too.
Good Choice, Not Great
I've loaded this in .45acp and found it to be okay, but a bit inconsistent in velocity. Maybe a different caliber would have better luck. (I think it's intended as a shotgun powder, but lots of folks recommend it for .45acp.) I've tested .45acp a lot and just can't beat Titegroup no matter how hard I try, although Clays comes close.
