RECON-S NO OFFSET SCOPE MOUNT Reviews & Ratings

Quick-release lever-lock system clamps solidly to flattop rail and will not work loose even under heavy recoil—the more force acting on the lever, the tighter it locks. Depress the release tab to swing the lever open, and the mount easily lifts off the rifle. Adjustable with a flat head screwdriver or even a coin for an ultra-secure, no-slip fit on almost any Picatinny or Weaver-style rail, including over- or under-sized commercial rails. Lever may be configured to lock to the front or the rear to suit the operator’s preference. Large locking bar on the side of the mount engages the maximum amount of rail area, while the crossbolt and two integral locking lugs ensure rock-solid engagement of rail slots to prevent movement under recoil. Five heavy duty steel hex head screws (three on top, two on bottom) clamp the vertically split ring halves together. Cutouts in the ring sides and in the base reduce weight without sacrificing strength. Quick-Release Scope Mount one-piece base with dual-lever system provides the same solid mounting and fast removal and reattachment.

SPECS: 6061 T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. 4Ѕ” (11.4cm) long. Each ring covers 1” (2.5cm) of scope tube length. Height measured from top of rail to bottom of scope body (both models): .890”.

QD mount awaiting an Arking LVPO for Lever rifle or my AR

I use a similar mount for a 30mm USOptics LVPO that works very nicely. This new one awaits a new Arken model with a 34mm tube. The mount seems well made, and I anticipate no issues. The settings are easily adjusted without resorting to special tools, and the fittings have been carefully coated. I do not have experience with more expensive Spuhr models, but I am satisfied with this brand for hunting purposes (feral hogs) and range use.

Excellent Quality and Battle Qualified.

I use this scope mount with my Eotech Vudu on a M1A Rifle. It is easy to mount and solid. I only buy scope mounts made by American Defense Manufacturing because they are flawless and reasonably priced.

great mount

I now have 2 and am picking another one up soon. Right now i have 1 mounted on a 300 win mag and the other on an ar10 and rem 700.. The 300 mount doesn't come loose and system keeps zero. The other going back and forth maintains its zero. The key is to mount it the same way and same place every time. Next one is going on a ar spr and i can't wait!

Excellent Product! Awesome Company!

I recently ordered this from Brownells. Shipping was super fast and the product is built like a tank. The only problem I ran into was with the rail I was mounting it on. I have a TWS Dogleg Rail mounted on an AK and the QD bolts in this mount were a little too high. I called American Defense and they let me know that they also make a slightly shorter bolt for weaver mounts, and that if I returned the mount to them, they would press in the new bolts and send back to me. In just a couple days I had it back and it fit like a glove! The customer service was top notch, and Jeremy really helped me figure it all out. This is why I only buy American made products now days. Will definitely be buying more ADM products in the future!

Great Scope Mount!

Never had any of American Defense products before and this one makes me want more! I don't of any other quick release mounts that have adjustability of how hard it clamps the rail. This is a very nice feature, just don't get it too tight cause your be needing a screwdriver to pry it open! I hand standard high dollars scope rings before and this definitely holds it's zero like them, but also holds zero have removal and reinstallation. Great mount!

Pay attention to screw length

Be attentive to the different screw lengths when mounting the scope. I didn't pay careful attention and had mounting issues until I realized my mistake.

I have one on a SCAR 17

I have one on a 17 SCAR and am now considering on using one on a BMG. This mount is VERY WELL MADE! I will try to use it on the BMG For the acid test.

mounted securely to my flat top bushy upper. Housing a redfiled revolution 2x7 and easily clears the magpul gen2 buis. craftsman ship is spot on and well built with solid QD. mounts solid with no movement. confident this will out last me in my day to day patrol duties. Made in USA is nice to!!!
