Quality matters.
Easy, simple, straight forward design that's smooth when closing QD's. Clamps on solid and very secure.
Well Made and Stable
Mounted a Vortex Razor in this for long-range gas gun matches...fitment was good and consistent with other American Defense products I've purchased...I personally don't care for the side mounting screws on the rings but for the money, this is a quality mount and I'd buy another.
Great Mount
Works great, very solid. Mount is adjustable, by pushing in on the QD levers when moved to a neutral position and then rotating the screws which push out on the opposite side you can increase or decrease the width of the attaching surface, since not all rails are created to the same specs. Overall a great product.
Great mount
This mount was used on an SR-762 rifle for a Burris C4 3-9x40 scope. I have removed and re-mounted the scope 2 times, and the rifle is still zeroed @ 100yds. The height allows the scope to just barely clear my BUIS that came with the rifle. Wish I had the tactical levers to make getting it off a little easier, but this mount is solid.
Extreme Quality
Put this on an AR build....WOW Looks amazing...Solidly built....duplicates zero. Worth every penny Eye relief is perfect for Nikon 223 scope I put on the rifle. Centered the scope in the rings and it was dead on.I love when a scope sits centered in the rings front to back...it looks great and is a rock solid mount then. I thought it would probably be a little trial and error but NO... it was built exact. After sight-in, I was impressed by how easy it was to remove the scope and drop an EOTech QD on for pins and plates at closer ranges. When I threw the scope back on, it was supremely close to zero. I will never say that anything is able to duplicate zero to a sixteenth of an inch....too many variables involved with removing, handling, and reattaching....but it was almost exact. Can't say enough good about it. If you can afford this mount for your build by all means this is the one to buy. I did tons of research before spending this kind of money to attach a scope to my rifle and this is it. Perfect! Thanks Brownells. Completely satisfied with the product....will buy another on next build..RRA Varmint-20 in the works now Smith M&P completed thanks to this mount.
Excellent Mount
This is the 4th mount I have bought for an AR-15 and it is hands down the best. No other mount even comes close.
Worth the money
I originally started out with a PEPR mount I purchased long ago. Although it worked well, it takes a tool for removal. I recently purchased a Sig 716 carbine, I wanted good reliable equipment on it. I purchsed the AD Recon mount and a Leupold VX-R Patrol 1.25-4 scope. Everything mounted up perfectly with no rear iron sight removal. So far, it holds zero and removes easy if properly adjusted.
Great Mount for my AR
I used this to mount my Leupold Mark AR scope to my .223 AR. After zeroing in at the range I removed it to transport the guns home. Next range trip, put it back onto my AR and point of impact and point of aim were still right on! Great product, well manufactured and rugged. Buying another for my wifes AR!
Excellent Patrol Rifle Mount
I run our Department Patrol Rifle Squad. Our officers are running personally owned Bushmaster, Daniel Defense, Colt, S&W, and Armalite carbines. I used an eotech and magnifier for two years, but recently mounted a Leupold 1-4X SPR Patrol scope using the Ad Recon mount (I can adjust the scope to my 50-year-old eyes). The mounting was simple. Zeroing was PERFECT. Shot a group, removed the scope twice, shooting it after remounting. It returns to zero, FLAWLESSLY. It is light and simple to use. What else is there to say. Well worth the price.
Outstanding product
I Own 2 of these and would not put my high dollar glass on an AR platform w/o one. If you spend $500+ on yout optics, or need a quick change option you owe it to yourself to install a ring platform that will perform along w/ your scope. It's tactical/sport application is 2nd to none! In my experience it will return to Zero when/if removed for a different optics setup or a need to use backup sights. They are a bit pricey, but American Made Gold Standard product im my opinion. Quality that matters!!
