Benelli M2 recoil spring
Didn't trust the stock spring, I know these are better quality. I didn't trust the stock spring, so I replaced it with one which I know is better quality.

Suited my needs
Attempted to tailor a Benelli M1 Super 90 tactical for Federal LE reduced power 8 pellet 00 buck. Benelli with inertia systems are known to be finicky with reduced power loads, especially if adding more weight to gun in the form of lights, side-saddle etc. The wolf reduced power recoil spring had no issues with failure to extract, failure to feed and locked back reliably on empty. Performed 100 plus tests in 7+1 configuration, plus added weight of streamlight trl-1, and Nordic Components +3b extended mag tube. Thank you Wolf and Brownells for continuing to support old guns. Downside is now I have no need to buy another shotgun. Haha Would probably not want to shoot full power loads out of this gun with reduced power spring as gun kicks enough already, and expensive to repair if it breaks.

Completely Changed The Gun!!
I have an older Heckler & Koch imported Benelli M1 Super 90, the gun will cycle everything including lighter loads, which is probably due to a VERY well used recoil spring. It would recoil insanely hard and quite painful with any max dram eq 2 3/4" loads. I installed the extra power recoil spring and it tamed the recoil and gun cycles very fast and bolt stays locked. This would be great on any max 2 3/4" or 3" mag shells. Gun shoots noticeably softer now.

Cold weather problem solver
My Super Black Eagle gets sluggish when temps are below freezing. This extra power spring has solved all the cycling problems.

Good spring for benneli goose loads
I installed this XP spring in 2 SBE II guns that are running high velocity upland game loads 2 3/4" 1500 fps #4 and the guns both had fast lock up and cycle rate however both guns experienced intermittent loading on follow up shots and found the spring is too stiff/fast for cycle timing and they stalled out on the next round, would not load the shell from magazine went back to factory spring and all problems went away. Only use this spring if your running 3" mag or 3 1/2 goose loads to give the bolt carrier enough time to cycle the magazine.
