Works Great
I've used the OEM guide rods that have the polymer guide rod inside and honestly they work really good for what it is I have upgraded to the stainless steel rods I don't know that I really noticed the performance difference in either one to be honest I just know that the obviously the stainless one will last a long long time where the polymer needs to be replaced cause this technically a throwaway part when it goes. I cannot tell if the Lone Wolf is better or the same as this one, I could not see or feel any difference.

Allows peace of mind
I'm a retired police firearms instructor, and have been a firearms instructor trainer as well as police recruit firearms trainer. I have seen thousands of rounds fired through hundreds of Glocks and have never witnessed a factory guide rod break or malfunction. Still, knowing Murphy is alive and well, I have installed this product in my personal carry G19. Installation was simple and the product fit perfectly. really nice captured guide rod
This guide rod, unlike many others has a bushing that rests against the inside of the slide instead of the spring touching the slide directly. Is also uses factory style flat springs! I did take it apart and polish the rod for a few minutes to get rid of the light machine marks. It is a little smoother and quieter when that is done! I highly reccomend this guide rod. and it is a reasonable price too!
BETTER THAN I THOUGHT
I PICK THIS PART UP FROM A LOCAL DEALER I THOUGHT IT WAS A LITTLE EXPENSIVE BUT AS SOON AS I BROUGHT IT HOME AND INSTALLED IT I NEW INSTANTLY WHY I PAID THIS MUCH IT FITS PERFECT AND FUNCTIONS FLAWLESS AND ADDS A LITTLE WEIGHT TO A GUN I MY OPINION WEIGHS TOO LITTLE A REAL NICE BALANCE NOW THANKS FOR A GREAT PRODUCT !

Do not buy
This guide rod simply does not work. I do not recommend this nor would I ever buy again. I have never been able to get the gun to function with this guide rod in, once I used a Glock oem g19 guide rod, the gun ran flawless.
Did not work for my 34
Would catch on shroud during recoil and not allow cycling
