The Brownells Receiver Way Polisher helps the user polish the rails that the bolt lugs ride on. Just wrap abrasive paper around the end, tighten the set screw, then slide the polisher along the ways (rails). This Receiver Way Polisher gives great control and fast cutting. Brownells recommends using stoning oil in conjunction with the abrasive paper. Instructions are included with the Brownells Receiver Way Polisher.

Great toll

Makes a sometimes difficult job easy

The way polisher works very well haven't found any cons with it yet. You can polish the receiver ways to a mirror finish with moderate effort.

Works for the job

Great design but I don't care for the tool only clamping on the end. It would be easy to build a tool that claimed evenly on both ends or just offer a stone that does the same job. Over all it gets the job done but the tool could be better.

Not worth the money

Needs much improvement. Not the easiest thing to use. Does not clamp paper very well. Takes too long to get paper wrapped. Am sending it back and making my own with a much better clamping system.

Not universal

Does not fit into a Howa 1500 6.5 Creedmor
