Works great
Pulled a couple of bullets from some reloads to make sure both batches has the same powder charge. These were crimped reloads. Plenty of grip strength in the puller collet.

Repurposing Mil surplus ammo
I had to pull 100 rounds of mill surplus 150 gr bullets. My kinetic puller didn't cut it. One tip if they are hard to pull use a seating die to break the seal. I used the bullets for my 300 Blackout . Great product I recommend you get one for your reloading bench.

Hard to find
These RCBS 9 mm collets are hard to find in stock so I was happy to see that Brownells had them. This system works great on FMJ pistol bullets, 45 acp. 380 acp. 9mm Luger just snug it down on the bullet, don't over tighten the collet. The locking ring screw does not always hold the locking ring in place, just check it from time to time or replace it with a side mounted ring screw locking ring, which will not deform the threads on the die.

Perfect to have on hand
I used to try and pull all of my bullets that required removal using an inertia puller but this method is so much simpler and still keeps the bullets to be reused with no deformation as long as the bullets aren't bonded to the case (very old loads.) I've used this method for years and would highly recommend this to anyone who reloads. Seems like sooner or later everyone makes a mistake and must tear apart their created shell, or perhaps you just need to dispose of old ammo and don't trust the age. I have almost a complete set to be able to pull any caliber that exists. This was one that I was missing. Great tool!

Best bullet puller I have found
Simple and easy to use. Bullets can be reused. Little or no deformation at all. The only way to make it better is to include someone to do it for you.

Best thing for removing reloads bullet
I have used plastic hand swinging impact bullet pullers which work ok till they break. The RCBS collet systems is the best I have found. Once you have the puller you can get any collet size per calliber you need. Always works, never damages bullet, faster than hand swing type.

Great Value
The collets are well made and have a decent amount of steel after the slits to give them good heft and durability.

Poor Heat Treating
The part shattered like an egg on the very first use. Probably no longer made in America? RCBS has definitely slipped. I would recommend not buying this line of equipment much longer because one thing leads to another. I used to like RCBS because of the heavy construction. I seldom buy new RCBS items but prefer to get the old stock used. I like the dies that used to have dates stamped on the tops. I like looking back on those long lost days. Too bad they’re gone.
