Each pair of Walkers XCEL Razor Patriot Series Electronic Muffs features Sound Activated Compression, as well as Full Dynamic Range HD Speakers and two Hi-Gain Omnidirectional Microphones that all work in conjunction to provide premium sound reduction and enhancement in a compact package. The earmuffs are powered by two AAA batteries, and the redesigned headband provides enhanced comfort. The unit provides 23 decibels of sound reduction.

Huzzah for Brownells

I'd like to take this moment to thank the people at Brownells for the ridiculously fast processing and shipping. I don't know how you do it but every time I order something I've received iit ahead of schedule. I'll certainly continue to shop here in the future. And now for the Walker's electric earmuffs, they are comfortable, they function pretty decent , you can hear people on the range remarkably well. But I go to an indoor range so I also use plugs. Hear the crickets, not the shot

If you are a frequent shooter, this ear protection is where it is at. You can hear everyone around you event the crickets and rustling of the grass but the loudest of guns is not a worry. Quiet as can be. I highly recommend these over the cheap little ear plugs any day.

I've used a variety of different electronic earpro, Venture Gear and Howard Leights mostly. These are the only pair that fit well and have given me no issues with battery life.

Wish I bought along time ago

These things are awesome. First off I take my kids shooting, so with that you know theres alot of communication. You can hear people talking in like HD with these. No need to take off or adjust. You can leave on all day at range. Excellent product.
