Awesome little gun locker

I have two of these from Brownells. A small one and a large one. Great for keeping stuff where you know it is, keeps stuff from "walking off". Lightweight, solid construction and rapid entry. Shop around, and then realize that great Brownells price may include free shipping! Now that's customer service!

Great for small spaces!

Needed something for quick access in an emergency. This was great for my hallway closet. Keeps unauthorized users from getting to your weapons! No fire protection inside and could use a few more mounting holes inside to secure it to a wall(light weight).

Well made gun cabinet

This item sits nicely half-way between super lightweight gun cabinets that go on eBay for $250 on the one hand, and a 450-600 lbs safe that will set you back a couple grand or more on the other. The Hornady vault is a robust, well made cabinet with 5 locking latches on one side of the door and a full piano hinge on the other. It came extremely well packaged and there was no damage whatsoever. The mechanism is a bit loud when it unlocks but it seems to work well. Time will tell, but so far I'm quite satisfied.
