Great Powder for my cartridges
Alternately use Hunter or Staball 6.5 for 6.5 CM, 270 Win, 300WSM, & 7WSM. One or the other will yield high velocity and good accuracy on a budget. Both are in the same 4350 burn range but the differences almost assure I can get a good load with any bullet from 140-200 grains.
You can spend more for powder... but for my purposes there's no need.

Hunter is a great powder!
I'm getting 2950 gps with 165 grain bullet out of a 30-06 using 61 grains of Hunter with sub MOA accuracy. My rifle has a 24 inch barrel. It's a stout load, but no pressure issues. Actually, 61 grains is a little less than max loads listed by Western.

Great 6.5 creedmoor powder!!
Ramshot Hunter is a good 6.5 creedmoor powder through the bullet range. A 120gr. Nosler Btip over a 47.5 MAX LOAD lists at 2,997FPS at 58,280psi with a C.O.L. of 2.710, up to a 142gr. Sierra HPBT MatchKing over a 45.7gr. MAX LOAD at 2,761FPS and 58,540psi with a C.O.L. of 2.820. And still a good 30-06 Springfield powder through all bullet ranges (excels at 150gr. Bullet and up though). A 180gr. Speer Grandslam over a 61.0 grain COMPRESSED MAX LOAD lists 2,860FPS at 59,890psi with a C.O.L. of 3.170. Great powder!
Excellent powder for HEAVIER 30-06 sprg.
Excellent powder for 30-06 Springfield for all bullet weights. BUT it excels on the heavier grained bullets (150gr+) due its slower burn rate. Ramshot BIG GAME excels for the lighter range of bullets (150 and under). You can also go to western powders or Ramshot webpage to download a FREE complete load guide that has many loads... on their powders of course.
Excellent Powder
I have had good results with .243 Win using 100 grain Sierra Game Kings. Usually throws within .2 of a grain and doesn't seem agitated by changes in temperature.
