Solid platform for any rifle
I was looking for a solid platform for my CZ-457 as well as my AR-10. The versatility of changing the attachment device on this bipod made it very attractive for multiple rifle deployments. Brownell's price point is one of the best that I have found.

Very stable
A little bit pricey, but in this case you get what you pay for. A very high quality bipod which has the stability needed for bench rest shooting. If you want accuracy this is the bipod for you.
Best bipod
I have been a Harris bipod fan for years but recently got tired of it collapsing when using forward motion. The Atlas with quick disconnect is by far the best bipod I have owned. Just the feel is solid. It cants, swivels and adjusts for uneven ground. Has several adjustments of the legs for every kind of surface demanded. I also purchased the extended leg sections for even higher setting. If you want a solid bipod platform, the Atlas is the one. If course there is a larger cost factor but once you add it to your rifle you will be glad you spent the extra dollars.
Outstanding Bipod
I use this to shoot from the Bench and Prone. It is much better than using a bench rest. The quality of this bipod is amazing. Functionality and ease of use are great. Holding it in my hand I could feel the quality. This is definitely worth the price. If you use or need a bipod, this will serve you well. I would highly recommend this bipod.
Solid and Feature Rich Bipod
It is easy to attach and adjust the QD mount. The adjustments on the bipod are easy, well thought out, and give the user many options. This feels like a quality piece of gear. The only negative is that the tension knob will loosen up after panning back and forth, and it is difficult to get it tight enough to where the side to side pan or cant will not drift when braced against. The panning and canting can be handy for varmint hunting or target shooting, transitioning between many close to medium range targets, but probably will not make a solid enough rest for serious long range use. If that is more your thing I think the same company makes a locking version without the knob, or one that just doesn't have the cant and pan features. This height is also enough to clear a 30 round mag in an AR without adjusting the legs out any.
Solid Bipod for Prone Shooting
The BT47-LW17 PSR is an excellent quick-detach bipod for shooters who need a taller option for shooting from prone. Extremely simple to mount on picatinny rail, adjust, and use. Lightweight yet durable. I use one for a DSA SA-58 carbine and the bipod works quite well with the carbine. While this is not an inexpensive option, this is a solid bipod that has a solid lockup and provides an excellent shooting platform. Buy with confidence if you're looking for a bipod to primarily shoot from prone with.
Quality Product
I just got the bipod and mounted it on my rifle. It feels very well made, the machining seems precise, everything works well/easily. I'm very happy with it, a quality product made in the U.S.
Awesome product. Well made and smooth.
Using this on my precision rifle. I was so impressed that I ordered a second unit.
Best bipod that I have owned!
I have to say that this is by far the best bipod that i have ever owned. It pans and cants, but adjustments can be tightened so that it does not happen until you want it to. The legs do not rotate on this model making it easy to preload without creeping forward on the bench. Quality is outstanding. Now, honestly, i am glad that i can take this from one rifle to another for two reasons. The first is described above - it is simply awesome. The second is the cost, i could not buy one for all of my rifles. The 5th star is lost only due to the cost, but you get what you pay for, right?
