This set of files are high quality Swiss made tools, great for taking off a very small amount of material while leaving behind a smooth surface with no rough spots or burrs.

You Won't Archive These Files!

I enjoy fitting and tweaking a variety of 1911 pistol components, and a high quality set of fine needle files is an absolute 'must-have.' The old saying that you only have to buy quality once is truly alive and well here. Beautifully made in Switzerland, this set is magnificent. You get 12 different files, each capable of performing a variety of tasks with ease and panache. They are a joy to use and behold. Of course, you don't have to work on 1911 pistols in order to enjoy the benefits of this wonderful set. They'll handle any task where a needle file is required. A superb set of files like this when properly cared for will outlast and outperform all others. You'll never file a set like this away.

what kind of file is flexible!?

Can't file squat with this piece of garbage. I bought these files to fit my trigger into an 80% 4140 1911 frame. The problem is the file bends when you put even a little amount of pressure on it. I'm sure given easier access to w/e you want to file, it may work pretty well, but i needed a NEEDLE file to get into a tight trigger track! I'm almost tempted to tell brownells I want my money back.
