Works as promised
Nice product, high quality, I love the leather case provide, although it all fits in very tightly and all needs to be arranged just right before it will close. But I didn't have a case with the last one and parts were lost.
Good Value
I prefer the old school ways of boresighting rather than laser inserts, this unit works at a price that does not break the bank.
Nothing will save you more cash!!!
I have used this boresight kit for about 50 years!!!! I use it on pistols and iron-sighted rifles and scopes of all kinds!!!! No matter what anyone says, get the crosshairs straight and you will be on target with minor adjustments. I was an armorer working F-16s and know what I'm talking about!!!!!! You will save 100 x what you pay for this in ammunition!!!!! Money in the bank!!!!!!
This is a must have for scoped guns
The 22 insert worked fine in my Henry as did the .177 in my Ruger 17 HMR. Haven't tried the .243 or my 30-30 yet. I just got the thing and they sold out fast. I just wanted to get this word out for shooters planning to purchase this item. crack shot Dave
Best available
Have used one since 1974 if you know anything about your ballistics and sight above bore this will put you on paper almost always, have tried everything that comes along and always default to this. Works fine with iron sighted rifles and shotguns Too low for AR type firearms without an extension and too high for 1911 type type iron sighted pistols but will work for optics mounted handguns have even used successfully on muzzle loaders !
This is a must have!! It works ever time
I can have a rifle bore sighted in 2 minutes or less. I bought another brand first and it was junk so I bought this and it is the best and easiest to use. No more guessing with a magnetic one. I was on the target at the range and with in two shots was a bull's-eye. Thanks for a great product!!
Worked like a champ.
I gave it 4 stars because there is no adjustment for high sitting scopes on an AR-15. This is where the Con/Limited Function is selected. Used on my 10/22's; effortlessly corrected these scopes. Used on my Rem 783 in 308. Same - I was able to correct it as well. No batteries needed. I wonder if there is an adapter for AR15's?
Makes Boresighting A Breeze
Quick and reliable for the most part, but the .22 insert doesn't fit in any of the .22's I've tried unfortunately.
NOT FOR IRON SIGHTS!
I called Bushnell to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong, and I wasn't. This is to sight in a scope ONLY. I was puzzled when I tried to use it on a 1911 with a new set of Trijicon night sights. IMPOSSIBLE! Simply doesn't work. Im sending mine back.
