The fit and finish were far better " out of the wrapper" than I expected.
Great Fit
Bought this for my .410 which had a cracked warped tenite Stock. This is the perfect replacement. Very little adjustment was needed.

Very satisfied
Used this stock on a 1958 Stevens 94c .410 shotgun, to replace the youth stock it was issued with. An almost perfect fit. I enhanced the Danish oil finish with three coats of Tru-oil, giving it a nice satin sheen to match the forearm. Will definitely use on future projects.
Great replacement stock
My stock is for the Remington 870. Pro: Excellent symmetry, correct tenon, correct wrist, butt plate centered and correctly fitted. Con: The factory 1/2-28 x 8 inch bolt was a little short. It worked, but the relief hole in the stock could be 1/4-3/8 deeper. The stock I received had no filled defects. Almost no "figure" but it did have some very nice light/dark streaks which made it a little interesting. Just the barest of fitting was needed at the tenon, at its rounded upper edge. Safe side file did the trick there. This stock went well with a corn-cob fore end I got some time ago. Both were finished with linseed oil with Japan dryer. Very happy. A good value.
Very nice
I'm old school and don't care for the new synthetic stocks so this butt stock was perfect for me and it is absolutely beautiful and the quality and figure of the wood is far nicer than the price would suggest. Very reasonably priced. And despite the heading the stock I bought is for a Remington 870 not a Browning A5.
Replacement stock for a 16 ga. Mdl 12
This stock came today, I ordered it yesterday! It was advertised as being for a 20 ga., but I know the frames for the 16, 20 and 28s are all the same! The grain through the wrist is perfect...I couldnt get a better looking piece of wood if I picked it myself. Im going to shoot some skeet and 5 Stand with it this weekend. Thanks for helping me bring my Dads 16 ga.Mdl 12 back to being shootable.
Close to perfect upon delivery
I was pretty nervous about ordering this and having to do a lot of fitment work on it. I've never fit a new stock on a firearm. I'm pretty impressed with how well it fit right out of the box. I would buy this again but I won't have to.
Beautiful...
Nice fit on right side, but about 5/32 edge on the left. Just a little sanding should take care of things. Refinished the forend with Watco and they are a nice match. Gives me a good feeling to see a first year of production 870 returned to its original splendor.
