Havent loaded with it yet, but ive been wanting to try this in 350 legend. Especially with the exorbitant price that 4227 is fetching. Brownells always ships quick.

Good 357 powder
Solid velocities in 158 grain .357 magnum loads; however, one of the reasons I purchased this was because it was described online as not needing magnum primers. I did have a squib load in early testing with Fiocchi small pistol primers, and I haven't had one of those since 1992 after many thousands of handloads. No problems with magnum primers (Federal). Maybe it's a Fiocchi thing, but I haven't had any other issues with the several hundred Fiocchi small pistol primers that I've used in the last couple of years.

This is powder you want to use in 357 magum to make 158 gr. bullets go fast...not as smokey and sooty as 296 or 110...with magnum primers and data from hogdon website will push hornady 158 xtp bullet across my chronograph at 1285 out of my 4 inch smith and 1600 out of my 6 inch revolver...as accurate as 110 or 296...seems to be less muzzle flash also
