Pre-positioned bosses, slots and holes remove pressure from critical function surfaces while pins are driven in and out. Thumb Safety and Magazine disconnect drop into holes and slots to prevent damage no matter what position they are in. High Density Polymer construction prevents marring of the frame while driving pins in and out. Retaining slots on each side of the block hold the striker making removal and installation of the striker spring a breeze. One side is for the 45 striker and the other is for the 9/40/357 striker. Moveable bosses are easily adjustable to position frames quickly and easily. Raised walls on each side of the block position the trigger bar within the trigger to easy trigger swapping. Apex logo and contact information cast directly into the body of the block for easy identification and access to Apex’s tech support staff.

The Armorer's Tooling Plate is designed to attach directly to the underside of the Apex Polymer Armorer's Block, providing a raised surface for you to work on your M&P and Glock®Pistols. The tooling plate has snap locks and slots to hold the 1/8" custom roll pin punch and 1/16" allen wrench. Rubber feet grip the work surface, allowing for a sturdy hold while working. A ring magnet on the underside of the plate will prevent magnetic parts from escaping.

Great Tool

This is a great tool for holding a gun securely while working on said firearm especially for accuracy.

A Nice Addition

The Apex Armorer's Tray is a nice complement to the original Apex Armorer's Block. When coupled together, the tray's non-slip pads prevent the pair from moving around as you are working. The embedded ring magnet helps catch metal parts, although it could be a bit stronger. There is also a small fixture in the center of the tray for holding the muzzle steady while removing slide back plates. The included 1/8" roll pin punch and 1/16" hex wrench fit securely into special recesses for storage. There is also a spot for the Talon Tactical Rear Sight Tool (100-005-388WB; sold separately). The one really disappointing feature of the Armorer's Tray is the cheap 1/16" hex wrench. Most of the bluing came off when I cleaned and oiled it for the first time. I still could have used it, but my obsessive nature forced me to replace it with a much nicer ball-ended hex wrench from Bondhus (Part# 16903). It snaps into the tray for storage, just as the original did, and the added utility of having one ball end is great.
