Apex Armorer's Block
Works great with Smith & Wesson M&P and Springfield XD pistols. Holds the pistol firmly in place while driving pins out and replacing them. Doesn't slide around on bench while working on the gun.
Excellent Accessory For Your M&P Pistols
Upgrading the trigger in your M&P pistols is easy using this block. No need to use a tape roll or wood for support when drifting pins out.
Works Well for S&W M&P 2.0
I used this to change the trigger in a M&P 2.0 and it did what it was supposed to. Good access & clearance to drive the pins out & back in. A little pricey but it made the job easier.
Great Product! Works as Described
I got this as a gift for Christmas because I do most of my own work on my M&P's it works great and the added bonus of having the trigger spots and firing pin holes is perfect...
Very Useful Tool for M&P Upgrades
This is a "must have" if you plan on installing the APEX Forward Set Sear or Action Enhancement kits on your M&P pistol. The product is very well thought out. It provides a tight fitting hold for your pistol frame and trigger. I cannot imagine completing these upgrades without this product.
Great Tool
This is a great tool for holding a gun securely while working on said firearm especially for accuracy.
A Nice Addition
The Apex Armorer's Tray is a nice complement to the original Apex Armorer's Block. When coupled together, the tray's non-slip pads prevent the pair from moving around as you are working. The embedded ring magnet helps catch metal parts, although it could be a bit stronger. There is also a small fixture in the center of the tray for holding the muzzle steady while removing slide back plates. The included 1/8" roll pin punch and 1/16" hex wrench fit securely into special recesses for storage. There is also a spot for the Talon Tactical Rear Sight Tool (100-005-388WB; sold separately). The one really disappointing feature of the Armorer's Tray is the cheap 1/16" hex wrench. Most of the bluing came off when I cleaned and oiled it for the first time. I still could have used it, but my obsessive nature forced me to replace it with a much nicer ball-ended hex wrench from Bondhus (Part# 16903). It snaps into the tray for storage, just as the original did, and the added utility of having one ball end is great.
Limited Uses
I bought one of these to work on my Glock pistols. I have found that even with two adjustable positioning rollers you are still very limited in the number of positions that you can use it with and the devise would not fit all Glock models I.E. G26, 27, & 33.It did, however hold my G17 & 19 well with the slide removed and the slide lock facing up. A roll of duct tape would work better for my uses.
Don’t Waste Your Money
This won’t do anything a roll of masking tape wont do. Spend your money on something else.
Of Limited Use For Glock Pistols...
After using this item for work on Glock only it seems one of the Brownells existing bench blocks is the more appropriate tool. Found it to have very limited use for above make and quite a bit more useful for the M&P models. In a nutshell try one of the poly bench blocks before trying this if your main use will be for Glock Pistols.
