PMAG® GL9® 9MM LUGER HANDGUN MAGAZINE FOR GLOCK® 17

PMAG® GL9® 9MM LUGER HANDGUN MAGAZINE FOR GLOCK® 17 Reviews & Ratings

The Magpul PMAG GL9 - GLOCK 17 was designed for flawless reliability and durability over thousands of rounds. It provides the same quality and performance of the proven Magpul PMAG series of GLOCK magazines while also providing a viable product solution to those in locations and situations where a 10-round capacity restriction is required or desired. It utilizes the same double stack feed geometry as the standard capacity PMAG GL9 to ensure feeding and to avoid known reliability issues seen in many competitor products on the market.

Includes a high visibility controlled-tilt follower, a stainless steel spring, an easily removable floorplate for cleaning, paint pen dot matrix for mag marking, ridged floorplate edges for better grip, and round indicator windows. The magazine drops free when loaded or unloaded. All with the same boring reliability you expect from an OEM magazine.

The PMAG GL9 - GLOCK 17 is compatible with most full-size 9mm GLOCK handguns*, as well as compact and sub-compact variants with some protrusion below the grip.
Made in the USA.

Mag Pul Glock Mags
Haven’t had a chance to use them in my new PC9. Still in my 10 day waiting period. Happy with price and prompt shipping though.

Excellent quality except for ability to
Excellent quality except for the inability to see round count when less than a full magazine exists

Work and look the same, we'll See
Haven't used them yet, but if they perform like the AR PMags, no problem, and reason for only 4 stars. I did insert and eject them in 2 different Glocks and loaded them. Springs are stiffer than OEM Glock mags, but think they'll loosen up after some use. Basically all good.

Great product for the price.
I ordered the 3 pack and gave them a good workout today. Never had any issues in my Glock 17. Very happy with them. Does not surprise me as I have good luck with Magpul in my AR.

Only has a Full/Not full window
It is a perfect form, fit and function to a factory Glock 17 magazine. The only difference is factory magazines give you a window for each round, so you can tell exactly how many rounds remain in the magazine. The Magpul magazine only gives you a full/not full window. I.e. you can see if you have 17 rounds in it, but if you have less than 17, you don't know how many are loaded. That is fairly significant to me, thus 4 stars instead of 5.

Great, but...
I ordered these because of the price and Magpie's reputation. While perfectly good magazines, I was a bit disappointed that they weren't as good as factory Glock magazines. However, you can never have too many magazines, and I will keep these and eventually also get Glock versions. For $10 less per mag, it's hard NOT to like these.

Good cheap mags
I bought a few of these trying to save a few dollars but when they arrived I quickly realized they would not fit my Dawson mag extensions that I use for competition. Since the mag extensions cost more then the mags I sent the mags back and purchased factory mags. If you are just looking for some good cheap mags, because you can never have too many, then these are the way to go. If you are looking for mags for competition I wouldn't recommend them. They might fit other extensions but the way the bases fit to the mag body is different then OEM.
