PMAG® GL9™ 9MM LUGER HANDGUN MAGAZINES FOR GLOCK®

PMAG® GL9™ 9MM LUGER HANDGUN MAGAZINES FOR GLOCK® Reviews & Ratings

The PMAG GL9 is a GLOCK 9mm handgun magazine featuring Magpul's proprietary all-polymer construction for flawless reliability and durability over thousands of rounds. Meeting the overall length requirements for a competition magazine, the PMAG GL9 offers additional capacity without the need for expensive extensions.

Magpul's GLOCK magazines come with many of Magpul's other platform PMAG features, including a high visibility controlled-tilt follower, a stainless steel spring, a floorplate that's easily removable for cleaning, a paint pen dot matrix for magazine marking, ridged floorplate edges for better grip, and capacity indicator windows. The PMAG GL 9 drops free from the firearm whether it's loaded or unloaded. All with the same boring reliability you expect from an OEM magazine.

The PMAG GL9 is compatible with all full-size, compact, and sub-compact double-stack GLOCK 9mm variants with some protrusion below the grip.

Another flawless MagPul product.
I bought these for my Glock G45 and Extar EP-9. They work great in both guns, feed without fail, and drop free every time on pressing magazine release. Fit comfortably in a support-side OWB kydex double magazine holder.

No issues
I went today for my second quarter qual, and was wondering how well the mag would perform due to the reviews. The mag worked flawlessly in several different drills. Im buying 2 more.

Excellent!
I use these as spare magazines for Duty use. The size vs standard 17s is efficient without being ungainly. They have proven with brass and nickel cases to be 100% reliable have been using the 17s for about two years with many thousands of rounds through them. The 21s are the same. That said they do hiccup with non-lacquered steel case such as wolf poly, with lacquered the reliability improves drastically I believe this is do to the lack of lubrication on the cases coupled with the polymer body of the magazine. As said above 100% with brass or nickel.

Great Alternative
These P Mags are a good alternative to the more expensive OEM magazines. Function well and drop free just like the originals.

Great for USPSA
I shoot a gen 5 Glock 17 in USPSA Carry Optics. Ive been using these mags since I started in that division last year. For context, I shoot 15k-20k rounds a year. These wear out faster than Glock factory mags, typically causing rounds to pop through the feed lips during speed reloads. I havent had mag related stoppages, even with the ones with weakened feed lips. I use these because theyre so cheap that I just buy 12 mags at the end of the year before my major matches and throw away the bad ones. They also easily make 140mm and can be inserted on a closed slide while fully loaded.

Didn't work?
I've never had a bad experience before with a Magpul product? Had a couple of 15 round Magpul Glock magazines that worked well enough for the range but just couldn't get this 21 rounder to work. Brownell's excellent customer service allowed me to return this product (free of charge) and refunded my money. I will absolutely continue to be a Brownell's customer and love my MagPul AR magazines but will stick to OEM Glock magazines from now on.
