Works good and at a good price
Been using it on 308 and 6.5 CM cases and it works well, swaged primers are a little harder to remove but found the product can do the job with extra hand pressure and I like that it catches the primer so they are not falling everywhere.If you are doing hundreds or thousands of swaged primers you might want to use your press.
Better than sliced bread
Once you get the hang of it ...i can de-cap 600 pieces of brass in an hour. I think this is much faster than a press mounted de-cap die. De-capping then sonic washing provides a factory new brass look and saves on the amount of dirt in your progressive press. I'm a small shop custom ammo manufactory and have de-caped more 500,000 brass with the first one i purchased and it is still going. Not a fan with the chucks placed on the unit as they fall off. The unit does need some cleaning and lube after 5k rounds or so which is no big deal. I do wish Franklin would have replacement parts like the primer tube , screws and de-cap pin. This is the best tool for the job that i have used for non Berdan primers .

I was able to process about 2000 rounds of .45 long colt, in about 2 hours, while watching TV. My only complaint: The cup is held in by friction(you just push it in), so if you bump it,spent primers spill everywhere. I would have like to see it in a twist lock or screw top. That being said, this thing is awesome.
Well made & easy to use.
A fellow shooter had one of these at the range a few weeks ago and was quickly depriming his pistol brass after each session. I don't customarily deprime pistol cartridge cases before cleaning, but he's a precision bench rest shooter and has grown accustomed to cleaning all of his brass with the primers out so the powder residue will be removed from the primer pockets and flash holes. Whenever I have needed to individually deprime cases, I've always used a decapping die in my single stage press. However, that takes time to retrieve, set up and then put away; and commonly requires removing another reloading die that's already installed and has been adjusted. I just received my new F/A DePriming Tool, and after taking about two minutes to read the instructions and put in the medium size collet, was immediately able to deprime some 38 Spl and 40 S&W cases with only a few seconds needed to adjust the collet cap for each caliber. I'm very impressed with how well this tool is made and how easy it is to use, with my only complaint being that I didn't buy one sooner!

I bought this to deprime old military 30.06 brass. Out of the package I had to change the collar for the 30.06 brass and off I wenr.

Thus far it has worked well with 308, 556, 223, 357, & 38spl. Can be a little tough w/ the NATO stuff but you just have to muscle thru it. Well made, reasonably priced item.
Works well, dosen't fit for small primer
works well, only issues were that the depriming pin is to thick for depriming 6.5x47 Lapua brass. Chucked it up in a power drill and tried to sand away to thin it down. Also, when pointing, say level with the ground, primers fall out of the hole. When you point it down to de prime, the plastic receptacle pops off and all the dirty primers go everywhere. When you get in a groove, depriming goes quicker than on a press.
