New primers
Haven't used them yet... Review will follow as soon as the temperature is above twenty degrees! Steve S.
Remington pistol primers
Remington primers always go bang. I've never had a misfire while using them and I shoot a lot.
Would you recommend this?
Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Prompt and Reliable
Always great dealing with Brownells! One can count on prompt and reliable service every time!
Remington 2 1/2 large pistol primers
I always use Remington 2 1/2 large pistol primers for .45acp loads. Consistent and accurate no matter what bullet or powder I use. I prefer 185 and 230 gr. bullets with Titegroup or HP-38 powder. I've probably loaded over 30K using these primers. Never once have I had a failure to fire.
Small Pistol Primers - They Work Fine
I was just happy to buy a couple 1000 of these when they were briefly in stock at an almost normal price. They are small pistol primers and they work. When they are available they are great!
Good Primers
During the shortage I got a few boxes of the Remingtons and was very pleased. I still prefer CCI's for smoothness of seating, but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the Remington's again.
Greatfulashell to get some primers
Grateful the Vista monopoly on primers decided to share w/re-loaders a few of their expensive/elusive to get primers. I'm not wasting them on target practice because I don't know when I'll be able to get more & I ain't shootin-up what I cannot easily replace. I'm also grateful to Brownells who allowed me to purchase 2/1000 cartons w/one hazardous materials fee charge - unlike another who won't allow but 1 box every 7 days -which gets expensive in haz-mat fees being applied. Hope this democrat regime gets replaced soon, plague ends & folks can get back to some kind of normalcy where things make sense again.Yes, I'd buy these primers again along w/any others I can find-cause I don't use a flintlock any more!
