Lightweight vertical grip clamps securely to Picatinny forend rail to give the operator a more comfortable shooting stance and better weapon control. Helps control muzzle climb during sustained fire for quicker, more accurate follow-up shots, and minimizes hand fatigue when holding weapon in the ready position for long periods of time. Shape is narrow at the top for secure purchase by the thumb and forefinger, with a palm-filling swell at the middle, and wide, deep, concentric ribs around the lower 1/3 of the grip for a comfortable, ultra-secure grasp. Removable core has a large, waterproof storage compartment that can hold a spare bolt assembly, two AA or CR123 batteries, or other small parts. Screw-on, O-ring sealed cap removes easily and has padded interior to prevent rattling of items inside. Easy-to-use clamping system attaches simply by unscrewing the entire core, sliding the grip onto the rail, and lining it up over a slot with the aid of the alignment windows. Then screw the core back in tight for a rock-solid attachment that won’t let loose. Reinforced, Acetal cold polymer construction handles the knocks and dings of tactical operations, as well as extremes of heat, cold, and humidity. SPECS: Acetal polymer, matte black. Solid build. Easy to mount and useful storage in the grip body. Another great item from GG&G.

Misleading color. Looks gray, not black

Do not buy this grip if you are expecting a standard black foregrip to match your rifle. I do not feel that the matte finish on this product was clearly explained in the description, and the photo used does not capture how gray it looks in person. The photo used here makes the grip look similar in color to the classic black Knights Armament foregrip which, let's be real, is the reason we're all buying this thing in the first place. We want a simple, well-made grip that matches the color of our rifles. This product does not accomplish that, which is very disappointing because the quality/fit/feel is VERY solid. I would be so so happy with this if it was the standard black color, but as it stands now that I have it in person, it looks very out of place and, to be honest, sort of cheap. I've added some pictures to show what I mean, but to be honest I don't feel like they do it justice. This thing looks very, very gray in person. If you're okay with that, then buy this grip. It is very well made and feels very solid. But if you want a grip that matches the black of your rifle, like I do, then I can't recommend it.
