PICATINNY STUBBY GRIP

PICATINNY STUBBY GRIP Reviews & Ratings

Low-profile vertical forend grip gives you better control of your M4 carbine, breaching shotgun, or other CQB weapon without adding weight or excess bulk. Compact design won’t interfere with most vehicle gun racks, so weapon accessibility from a vehicle is not impaired. Rounded, ribbed surface helps prevent hand fatigue and cramping during long periods in the ready position. Quick-release, dual locking bars provide a rock-solid mounting interface to MIL-STD 1913 accessory rails. Waterproof storage compartment with O-ring seal on cap holds spare batteries or small parts.

SPECS: Resin polymer, black or dark earth. 3-3?8" (8.6cm) long.

However, issues with compatibility on other rail types, such as M-LOK or non-standard Picatinny, have frustrated some users. Overall, it's a solid choice if you have the right setup.

Nice!
Awesome grip. Very sturdy. Water-tight compartment with a rubber seal.

Read the Instructions
If you run a mil std 1913 rail, it installs and works just fine. Not the products fault people don't read descriptions or instructions. Not as bad as it use to be, but some rails are notorious for being out of spec, YHM and DPMS come to mind.

Just the right size
Easy to install with 4 wire ties to use to install it. The wire ties are used to hold down the clips (for a lack of a better word) so you can slide the grip in place. Pull the ties and you're done. use the wire ties to tie some loose wires.

Outstanding!
Tangodown has perfected (In my opinion) the stubby Pgrip. Very,Very durable! Once you put it on MilSpec Picitinni rails it will not move!! Twin locks ensure that it is not going ANYWHERE!. If you break it while its on your weapon, your weapon is probably broken, blown up or destroyed as well. It is not a wanna be mall ninja Chinese part!! The real durable deal.

Good grip
Nice and ergonomic, the fde color matches my magpul fde furniture perfect and I prefer its slim features over the bcm stubby

fits only mil std 1913 rails
Fits only mil std 1913 rails. Buyer beware will not fit standard picatinny. This will not mount on my yhm diamond quad rail. I haven't yet decided if I'm going to try and file on it a bit or just return it. The stubby grip is great just make sure your rails are mil std 1913 picatinny. Knocked 2 stars for this reason.

Hard to Mount
This is my second Tango Down vertical grip and I remember the first was hard to mount. Well this one was impossible to mount and I believe it may be slightly out of spec. I threw it to the side for the time being and purchased the quick detach version instead.
