Red dot Optic built like a TANK!!!
Military and LEO approved, this optic is built like a tank and will hold zero under almost any conditions. If the brand doesn't say enough, this product is worth all the money, and it's insanely well-made.

Beyond amazed
I have had this for about 4 years now. Not one problem with it. It keeps it's accuracy and is on point every time I shoot it. I depend on it to save my life in my line of work.

Excellence never goes out of style
Old technology but still one of the best available. You get Aimpoint quality at a mid tier price point. This optic is simple, reliable and damn near bomb proof. You get excellent battery life and this thing looks awesome. I use it on my M4s. Its not clone correct but looks the part. Its old big and heavy in the era of micro red dots but the vibe is real with this classic and you cant go wrong with the Aimpoint Pro.
Excellent RDS, much better than MRO
I bought the patrol version after having Eotech halo sights. I’m very pleased with the shape of the dot, especially after having lasik surgery on my eyes. While the reticle in the Eotechs was grossly distorted due to my astigmatism, the dot in the Aimpoint was much better, although there still was some starburst pattern when turned to higher settings. Post-surgery, the red dot is crisp (as are the Eotech reticle). The Aimpoint unit has the feeling of being as reliable as a hammer. I didn’t have any issues with the QD mount, but still changed it out for the more streamlined Scalar QD mount. I also replaced the plastic lens in the dust cover with a flat sapphire watch crystal of the same size that are available from various online watch component suppliers. Just pop out the original plastic lens, measure it (it’s metric if I recall correctly) and order the replacement (-$30). No more worrying about scratching the plastic lens if it gets dirty, and it’s so clear, I don’t have to open it.
One of the very best optics
Rugged, and will be passed down to your children.
Competitive prices and very fast shippin
This is an excellent, high quality optic at a good price. After seeing a ton of good reviews of this great this optic, it is everything that people say. Very satisfied. Side note: this was my first purchase from Brownells and I'm amazed of his quickly the order was processed and shipped. It went out the next day. Great company, will but here again for sure
Best optic for the money
I have one of these on my Colt M4. I liked it so much, I bought one for my son to put on his S&W M&P. Excellent sight, easy to mount and zero in. You could spend more money but you wont find a better optic.
ordered 2 of these sent one back for exc
I ordered two of these Aimpoint PRO's , they arrived in two separate boxes as two orders . I unboxed one that was in original Aimpoint box sealed with a tamper seal (like Leupold scopes ..etc). I unboxed the other that was wrapped in shrinkwrap and could see that the original Aimpoint seal was broken and the product was rewrapped . Upon inspection I noticed the rewrapped Aimpoint had slight marring on the base where it had been mounted obviously on a rail or mount . Curious , I called tech support at Aimpoint and they ran the serial and said the scope had been sent to Brownells in May of 2020 . Well..."new in box" in the gun world means "new in box" . Well , probably the unsealed box Aimpoint would be /was fine , but buying a return/demo at full price without disclosure didn't sit right with me so I sent it back for an exchange for new one , still waiting and hope the exchange process goes through before the item goes out of stock and goes on backorder . The new sight is fantastic and took four clicks to sight in , well made, sturdy and arrived relatively fast for a backordered item . I give the Aimpoint Pro 5 stars easy , disappointed to receive a not quite exactly "new" item at full price , don't know exactly how that happened, surprised to receive an opened and obviously mounted item from Brownells , had they offered it as a demo or return at say , twenty bucks off yeah sure I'd be all over it , but I would be upset to go pick up a new vette 8000 miles , same with NIB guns or gun parts . Brownells will make it right , no doubt , perhaps their supplier pulled a fast one who knows , hate the wait , but with the midwestern storms in middle Iowa that happened recently things are a little hectic , Grinnell got hammered . Absolutely recommend this red dot .
Best performance for the money.
Ive had my Aimpoint PRO for almost three years and am still on the original battery. The sight stays on my carbine in the safe at brightness setting 7, and I NEVER turn it off. This sight has been as reliable as iron sights for me. The dot is always there when you need it without having to mess with any switches or buttons. Only thing I would recommend is ditching the QRP2 mount. It works, but its overly big and bulky. I also found myself having to keep tightening the knob every few range sessions. Im currently using a SCALARWORKS mount, which is the best on the market. At the very least I would replace the QRP2 base with the one from Midwest Industries. Its much slimmer and more secure.
