Easy an fun
I made my own bluing stands and tanks ordered bluing salts ox#7, 909 cleaner, rust and blue remover, water displacing oil, set everting up as read the 28 page instructions . On my first attempt did not come out right , figured out where I messed up, corrected my water to salts ratio to correct saturation (did not have enough water in mix). got that correct and now are getting really good results ever time, will buy more as needed and recommend to people wanting to blue there own guns. easy and fun.
Would you recommend this? Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Excellent
I have been using Oxynate No.7 for 20+ years in my gun smithing shop. It is by far the best bluing salts on the market. Everything from a matte finish to high polish comes out with a beautiful blue-black finish. Anyone that wants to use this system please read Brownells instruction booklet thoroughly. Wearing protective gear is a must. I recommend ALL the safety equipment that Brownells sells. You only have two eyes and the salts are caustic to organic matter. A mentor would be very helpful in this field.

Follow the directions and it's awesome!
The first time I used this, I was nervous but followed the directions to a "T". The parts came out looking brand new! After that I still use the directions as a guide but it's gotten easier each time. Make sure to invest in the cleaner so you can use it again and again. Also make sure you have spare gas tanks available just in case. Bottom line, if you take your time you won't be disappointed!

Excellent products
I have a small custom handgun shop where I specialize in single action big bore conversions. By the nature of the work I do my customers are very demanding on the finishes. You can have the best action and accuracy in the world but if it does not look good out of the box they won't be happy. I use the Brownells roll around bluing station as I have a small shop and only blue handguns and I've found that along with the Oxynate 7 to be one of the best investments I've made. The system is easy to use and the Oxynate 7 creates a beautiful finish whether I'm doing a high gloss finish or a matte finish for a field gun.

Bluing Salts
This product in the 40lb size is currently out of stock and no one will give an estimated time for shipment. The product has always been very touchy to use and the salts creep out over the tank onto the floor, thus loosing salts that have to be replaced constantly.
