Excellent forend

Product came in a timely manner. Installed easily as advertised. Feels great and it definitely has a sure grip.

Great with 6 rd shell carrier

Fit & finish were perfect. Installation was uncomplicated (Brownells forend wrench recommended). Function was flawless. Excellent value. This is a great choice for use with the Mesa 6 rd sidesaddle shell carrier--no modification needed. To add the Nordic Components clamp for attaching a light (via short rail) or QDA point, I needed to also replace the stock mag ext tube with one from Nordic as well. The clamp would not grasp the stock mag ext tube. Hope this helps.

Works for 590A1 as well.

The grip on this forend is soft enough to get a better grip than the stock forend and still hard enough that it feels like it will last for a while. When you take it out of the box, look at it from the rear and you will see 3 raised portions on the inside that extend further back than the stock forend from a 590A1. After grinding these to the same length as the 590A1 stock forend it fit perfectly.

Good replacement for factory forend

I was disapponted with the factory installed Tri-rail forend. My hand kept slipping and I could not get a good grip. Ordered this forend and I am very happy with it. Installation was easy and required no swearing. I din't have tube wrench and brownells was out of the one I wanted so I used one of the shell stop bars to loosen the nut. Fit perfect, and then used a rubber mallet to break the factory forend free. Slid it off, put the hogue on and tightened the nut. Looks great, solid non slip grip. Should have bought a long time ago.

Hogue is the stuff!

Bought for a 870 project gun. Quality is fantastic. The pebbled tecture and consistancy of the rubber used on hogue products is perfect for a shotgun forearm.
