Exactly what I needed to gently move the dovetail sight on my 2011

Good tool.
I work in assembly on the Ruger 5.7 line. Using the holder with the Remington shotgun tip works great for removing the takedown lever.

Good tool.
I use this tip with the metal punch handle on the Ruger 5.7 line. It pops out the takedown lever with ease.

A great piece of gunsmithing tools
Bought this set so it gave the aluminum tips. The punches work well and are non-marring if used properly. Of course like anything if you use harder punches and bigger hammers you'll ruin the pins at least and maybe the gun.

Non Maring
I just Cerakoted a Remington 870. The fire control pins were coated to avoid rust, the bane recent 870's. The pin was now too tight in the receiver, I drove it in with this punch from both sides and then installed the fire control. No marring even though the pins were tight. Another great tool from Brownells.

Great little tool
Used to install a plain steel sight on a Glock and the nylon end was perfect, no marks left. And the ability to switch to brass is a bonus. Wish I'd had one years ago.

Right tool for certain jobs
This is the right tool to use to prevent marring a surface. They will break if you hammer too hard with them but that's why they are replaceable.
