Great pistol
My wife had trouble shooting smaller 380s (they would stove pipe or not cycle properly) due to weaker grip strength. This one is about the size of my glock43x so the combo of the 380 caliber and size works great. The grip safety works fine.

380EZ Awsome
My wife loves the 380 EZ, it is easy to operate the slide and the 380 ACP has less kick than the 9mm EZ we purchased for her. The first time we shot it she liked it and was comfortable using it. Liked it so much we got one for my mother as well

EZ means easy Rack.. A great little gun
Accurate, durable, an a great gun for a first time shooter. Very easy to rack. A real pleasure to shoot .Dual safety ( like a 1911) thumb and grip. Nice sights. Great support from S&W customer service if ever needed. Since the gun has 2 safeties it wouldn't be a good back up gun however S & W does make a model with a grip safety only. I totally recommend this gun I shot 190 rounds fast fire /fast reload without a failure of any kind. A real winner. Just a note ..Make sure the gun has the latest thumb safety modification installed.

380 Shield EZ review
This is my first M&P Shield EZ which I purchased to allow for use in my women's pistol classes. First impressions: It is easy to rack. Of the 8 mags of 8 rounds I ran through the pistol doing various drills, 1 hand, slow fire, rapid fire, limp wrist, etc I experienced 1 malfunction. On 3 reloads the slide did not go fully into battery. I had to tap the back of the slide to fully seat it. The ammo I used was new brass, but a mixture of ball ammo and round nose flat point. The gun shoots well and is very easy on the hands regarding recoil, but I'd have to shoot it a lot more to decide on it's reliability. Also I'd have to run some defensive ammo through it to see if the reliability is up to carry standards.
