Had issues with some aftermarket magazines, so went with original manufacturer. Brownell's had the best price of 4 companies for S&W Shield magazines (in fact Brownell's prices for original was better than aftermarket prices). Nice feed/ejection, easy load.

Great Mag's
I am a REAL Gunsmith, and give honest reviews because people want to know the truth about products. The last ones I got from Brownells were the old style follower without the modified follower. I have both style followers and have never had problems with either. I have shot many different types of loads with both and have never had a problem. Don't be afraid to buy either one of these mag's. Brownells has a great return policy if you don't like them.

OLD STYLE FOLLOWER WORKS FINE
I recently purchased ten of these as dedicated hard-use, practice-only, magazines. Each has the "old style" follower. Each magazine has been shot with three different .45 Shield 2.0 pistols. Each magazine has been ejected onto cement and gravel. Each has performed flawlessly. I would buy them again without hesitation.
