Nice Tool. Fingers No Owie

The moon clip stripper is phenomenal. Good quality, great price compare to the knock offs. Now if you could create a similar moon clip loader, that's be great!

Best unloader out there

This device works very well on a S&W 610-3. I use the Ranch Products and S&W moon clips, but I'm sure it will work with other brands. I like that it captures the spent casings in the hollow handle, which makes for easy cleanup. Although I also use a BMT Mooner to load the clips, I prefer using this tool to unload them because it captures the casings, whereas the Mooner spits the empties out two at a time and they tend to roll around more than I'd like. Overall, this is a great tool. The Ranch Products clips tend to hold the shells tighter than the factory ones, and this device is almost a necessity to unload the moon clips. You won't be unhappy with it.

Get this if you use moonclips

If you use moonclips get one of these tools. Simple tool but it makes removing and collecting spent brass so much easier. Its well made and works great. Wish I had gotten one years ago.

An absolute MUST.

This tool is a must have for moon clip or half moon clip unloading. Without it, you run the risk of bending your moon clips trying to remove the empties. Even a slightly bent moon clip is a recipe for disaster in your gun. This eliminates the issue altogether while reloading your clips.

Works great with the thicker moon clips.

This moon clip stripper was recommended to me for use with TK Customs thicker (.050) moon clips for shooting .40 S&W in my 10 mm Ruger Match Champion. The stock (.032) factory moon clips don't support the case sufficiently for reliable ignition of .40 S&W ammo but the TK moon clips do, only they are a bear to load and unload. This tool make it easy and fast without hurting your fingers or bending a moon clip. I highly recommend it especially if using custom moon clips.

Quality and easy to use

I have only purchased a few of Brownells labeled products and I find them to be quality products priced right. This moon clip stripper is no exception, it has a very comfortable handle and with a slight twist the cases pop right off. I purchased this tool for my S&W 686 plus and I love it, but wait it also works on my 629 44 mag. No the casings don't fall into the tube and you need to drop them one at a time so what for old retired guys like me its a win win. I know some enthusiast will say its only a moon clip stripper and I can buy them for under 10 bucks yes you can but for just a few bucks more you will have a really efficient and nice tool that will be around as long as your revolvers.

Great Product

Makes it easy to strip fired cases from moon clips. As stated by others, cases drop into the tube for easy return to the range bag. A great product!

The 45 ACP Stripper

Great tool to have much better than the wilson combat stripper. I like that the brass falls into the tube when using. Very well made great product well worth the money.
