No complaints, works great, looks good
I bought this for my EDC. Installation was mostly a breeze. On a stock G19 it is a snug fit, you have to seriously press it into the magwell. Once it was in, I checked to make sure my mags worked with it. The stock polymer Glock mag bases will work IF the magwell is seated correctly. Otherwise they're 1/16th off and will not seat. My Hyve based magazines went in without issue, si it's literally the difference in height between polymer and aluminum. Testing at the range, it was perfect for speedloading. For carry, it's unobtrusive and does not significantly alter the firearm's profile.
The best
the best magwell I have found for carry. Overpriced but would buy again.
Excellent Product!
Hands down the best low-profile Glock magwell on the market. Fit and finish is excellent. Asthetically pleasing design. Facilitates quick reloads without being a bulky design. I've tried several other brands and this one is the best. If you're looking for a magwell that you can still carry concealed with, this one is it.
Doesn't fit stock Glock mags.
Fit and finish are great. Fits the grip perfectly. Only issue is that the stock mags won't catch unless you slam them in really hard. I disassembled one of my stock mags and chamfered the base plate. It will catch if put in quickly but questionable if slowly inserted.
10-8 basepad
I bought this magwell for my g32 ( same as 19 ) , I have 10-8 baseplates and they are very hard to seat unless you slam it hard . It bottoms out at the same time as it initially clicks . I have no confidence in its operation as there is no extra room and questionable seating and I have not test-fired as of yet . This item is very over-priced but I expected it to work at least . On a side note , I also tried the 10-8s on a magpul magwell , same gun , they would not seat either . I tried both magwells with all 3 13 rd mags .. I also removed and installed them 2-3 times , carefully checking for burrs and fit . They both fit the gun well , as expected . Just no lunch with the 10-8 and either magwell . The description lists them as a fit . All products purchased thru brownells .
