This press works great, the assembly directions are not good but YouTube has lots of great videos on how to setup. Love the machine

Great MEC product again
I currently have 4 MEC loaders, most are progressive and 20+ years old, but recently purchased my first 16 gauge...so I needed another loader. Decided on the 600JR because I do not shoot that gauge that often. Loader works perfectly out of the box and shells look like new. Perfect crimps and straight side walls. However, the reloading data enclosed was VERY out of date and identified powders that have been discontinued. No big deal, I found new loading data and 16.1 grains of Unique.
Gun Lover
My dad bought this in the '70s when I was a kid and it is still going strong today. We made many good times and memories sitting in the floor loading 28 gauge shells as a young boy. Now I'm alone, with a bench, and I just still load shells and fire them at clay targets, with the same gun. I rarely pull the lever on this reloader that I don't think about him....
Extra bonus!
Buy the 3" press, it comes with the kit to convert and load 2 1/2 inch shells, an unexpected bonus!!!
Great loader for target shooter
I purchased my MEC 600 while I was in college in 1969 and have never had any problem with it. Totally reliable and economical tool to make shooting affordable. Highly recommend.
Still going strong after all these years
This is an easy to use and fun to use press. My dad bought it in the early 70's and I am loading with it still today and teaching my boys the joys of doing something yourself and how to save some money doing it. Simple to set up and will load a box of shells in minutes. Looking to get another in 20 gauge.
