Heavy-duty rings and bases are built to withstand extreme service without movement or loss of zero. Larger contact area between the scope/rings and base/receiver for less chance of movement. Large hex nuts on rings allow fast torquing of cross bolts for easy adjustment. Non reflective, matte finish. Mounting screws and Torx^® head wrench included. Steel Rings - CNC machined from solid 11L17 cold-rolled bar stock, then blued. Aluminum Rings – CNC machined from 7075 T651 aluminum alloy and hardcoat anodized for maximum strength and wear resistance. SPECS: Steel or aluminum, matte black finish Rings - 1' (2.5cm) or 30mm (1.18in) inside diameter. Height from top of base to center of ring for both 1' and 30mm: Med. - .84' (2.1cm); High - 1.06' (2.7cm); Super High - 1.4' (3.5cm).

Always top quality with leupold

These rings are very well made. Ive had three sets of Talley Tactical rings snap at the base mount. Purely due to how close the cuts are to the scope bore. Only happens on med and shorter rings. So thats why we switched to Leupold. I had no idea they made these rings fit and finish is perfect for a tactical type ring. The steel rings are heavy and very sturdy. If you are concerned about weight they make the same rings in aluminum. These will be used on my daughters and my Fclass rifles.

Leupold Mark 4 Scope Rings

An as expected, quality product from Leupold. Heavy duty scope rings comparable to those made by Badger Ordnance. I have installed Mark 4 rings on muiltiple tactical/competition and hunting rifles with no issues. All screws and fittings tighten down positively and securely. Rings align perfectly with no need for lapping. Highly recommended.

I chuckle at "these are to heavy"....one is hard pressed to have confidence in reaching out to 1000+ yards and at the same time doing it with a 7 pound gun!! There are a lot of "johny come lately" companies making "the best" aluminum rings on the planet, but in most cases service from those companies are like nickel and diming when things head south. I've been in this shooting game a long time and seen the trends come and go. AR flat top users please listen...get these steel super high rings at a bargin and be done with the worry of scope gun interface accuracy issues. No lapping even needed on a mil spec Flat Top and you'll probably be on paper at a 100yds.

If you want the best....Look no further!

I've installed just about every brand of scope rings available in the U.S. and Leupold Mark 4 stands up against all others in my experience. The extremely close tolerances insure that you'll have your scope in perfect alignment. The finish is flawless as you would expect from Leupold. There are many excellent scope rings on the market but Mark 4 rings are the best of the best in my 23 years of gunsmithing experience.

Just right

The 30mm Mark 4 medium Aluminum rings fits just perfect . I bought it to mount my Leupold Mk4 3.5-10X40 optic on my M24. It was perfect!. It just has the perfect clearance I can still install my ARD snd scope cap.
