This is got to be the best inertia Hammer that you can buy my last one lasted about six years and I finally had to retire it. I purchased the Frankford. It lasted for two months and it broke in half. Don’t waste your money buy this one.

I dont know if Lyman updated the materials or what, but I dont have a bad thing to say about this inertia bullet puller. The thing takes a beating and it pulls bullets from cases. So for those of you wondering about this puller, GO FOR IT. Now I know it wont last forever and will probably give out at some point, but it hasnt yet, and Ive pulled a decent amount of bullets. I know some people complain about the collets o-rings breaking and then giving a bad review on just that. I mean come on, its an o-ring! You can literally go to Harbour Freight and buy an entire box of O-rings for a couple bucks. And if you cant put an o-ring on something, you probably shouldnt be loading ammunition. Anyway 5 stars for this Lyman puller, it does what its supposed to. Just a friendly advice to anyone who hasnt used one of these things, make sure youre smacking against a solid surface, and you do have to really get a good smack going, harder than you think the plastic can handle, I dont know what this thing is made of, but it takes a beating for being whatever kind of plastic it is. So yeah great product from Lyman, I use this for pistol rounds mainly and the RCBS collet puller for Rifle rounds.

Quality tool
I bought this after my second Dillon puller went south in a big way. I love the color, easy to find. The metal shaft reassures me it won't do a 'dillon' on me. I have and love the 550B reloader, it's just this item that has given me trouble. The shipping was super fast and well packed. I tried it on some 303 brit and it did great. One caution is that you have to crank the top piece down when usung cases without a groove. It doesn't come with a bullet cushion in the bottom of the well. It may not need one, but I drupped a small piece of rubber in there just because. I also like the two collets. I wasn't expecting that. And I get a lifetime warrenty with it. What's not to like.
I would not buy this product again
The same day that I got it I broke it. The part that holds the case peeled away and will not hold the case. I pulled less than 20 rounds with it. I have not called Lyman yet, but it is going back. Im going to buy one that fit in the press
junk product
The case head holders are weak and poorly made. If you have need of pulling more than one bullet per week, buy something else.lyon 2002
