Great and useful set of bits...
An excellent addition to the standard Magna-Trip screwdriver set. Within a couple of days I needed a couple of these for a range trip as I needed them for adjusting the Bomar-type sights on my 1911 Long Slide and a Colt Gold Cup National Match .38 Super. Regular screwdriver tips simply weren't thin enough to do the job. Kudos to Brownells for making these bits available!

Perfect for slim screwslots
Perfect tools for very thin screw slots otherwise unaccessible.

Open Top Necessary
Realized none of my many screwdrivers would fit in the screw slots on the heads of the screws on my brand new Cimarron Open Top Navy. This kit was a bit overkill with so many options, but I can’t see a slotted screw head ever being an issue again
Magna Thin Bit Set
I purchased this set for work on Browning Citori over/under shotguns. These bits fit the thin screws without damaging them. With this set I can disassemble and reassemble my shotguns without fear of ruining screws.
Great set for imported shotguns
Nice set of bits that really come in handy when dealing with imported shotguns. Would like to see a bit added that's thin and long enough for a Beretta 680 series trigger plate screw. I'm going to have to try to grind one of these down to fit.
Excellent Thin-Bit set..!
A great set of Thin-Bit tips! I need them for guns made in Europe & Japan, esp., that use very thin slot on their screw heads. An acquaintance let me know about them and I ordered a set right away. I have a LOT of screwdriver tips, but NONE as thin as this set is. Just recently I had a screw loosen up inside a forearm on a shotgun made in Italy. I looked and found a tip that fit the thin slot perfectly so I could tighten the screw up once again. I did found out they can be broken as they are quite thin in profile, but Brownells always has spares available to purchase. A great tool for a specific task! Thank you for making these available.
Great Addition - Just what I needed
These bits were just what I needed for some older firearms that I have been working on. I was going to grind down some other bits but when I saw that this set was in stock I went ahead and ordered (its been out of stock when I looked in the past - although Brownells is very good with backorders). They came today and are already in use. I saw some reviewers complain about the box. I agree that its not the best box but it certainly works. I store my tools in Gertsner or Gerstner style tool boxes so for me damage to the box is unlikely. In another storage situation I could see wanting a better box. Just what I needed.
Thin bits
Definitely falls under the Right tool for the right job category. These are really for specific screws with a thin slots. They also tend to be torque sensitive, and can break easily.Good tool to have when used properly.
