Upgrade baby!
I upgraded from the older gray followers just because I like that I can see them better… and I would do it again, I don’t care what my wife says.

Fit Like a Glove
Upgraded the followers to these on five of my Gen5 magazines. Perfect fit. Ran them thru paces at the range, never had a feed problem. Recommend to anyone looking to swap out this black followers to these orange ones.

Glock 9mm Orange follower
I ordered this product so I can replace all my black followers! I may use the Orange followers to designate high capacity from 10 round magazines.

I like orange
As I get older, I find orange is a great color. My front sights, and now my magazine followers. My office changed to the G45 and liked the new magazines. I update some of my old mags that I specifically use for training.
It WILL work in 10 round mags, but...
These are the same as the Black 9mm6 followers, just labeled as 9mm7 and orange. Other than that, nothing is different. For those living in banned states, these will avoid hollow point feeding issues on that last round and will NOT cause the 4th or 5th round of JHP to jam as well. Some say that the empty mag will not lock the slide back with these followers in a 10 round factory Glock Magazine. They WILL, if you do a SMALL modification to the magazine body as shown in these two photos. You need to shave away about 1mm of polymer as circled here to allow the follower to seat all the way up to engage the slide lock. Some people arent aware of this, hence issues with their magazines not locking the slide back. ***Also, in 10 round Glock 17 size magazines, you MAY have to take some sand paper to the inside of the magazine at the base to help this follower initially fit. You will see what I mean when you are trying to fit the follower in at first. However, this was not the case for 10 round Glock 19 magazines.
Limited function with restricted mags
So far I've run rounds through a mixture of three 10-round G17/G19 mags with these installed and while feeding was fine, none of them locked the slide open when empty. Functional, but not worth the upgrade if you live in a non-free state.
Outdated Version
Despite what the Q&A says, these are the outdated #6 followers that have issues (slid locking, popping out of the empty mag, etc.). I ordered them and received all #6 followers. Brownells did take them back, but said they don't have any of the updated parts.
