Good spring

I installed this in my RIA CS 45 ACP. It has Hogue grips that don't have much finger relief groove behind the mag release. My old thumb could not depress the release without a major change in grip position. This solved the problem. Much easier to depress.

Works in a Star Model BM

Bought as a replacement part for my Star Model BM that had a very stiff mag catch spring in it. Dropped right in without issue, took about a minute to install.

Excellent lighter than factory spring

Much easier to depress mag release, without being so light that its released accidently. Great replacement for staff mag catch spring in Springfield 1911s.

Mag Catch spring++++++

Makes the mag catch a much better unit. I put these springs in all of my 1911's. Not too light to cause accidental jettison of the mag...just perfect.

Install this, lose your match!

Horrible! Do not install this in your competition gun period! Your magazine WILL drop at the slightest pressure in the middle of a match! Lesson learned now I'm back to the regular stock spring!
