Stick with Glock Mags
I decided to try these magazines with my Glock 44. the gun came with 2 factory mags, and I ordered 4 of these. It was the price that I found attractive. In comparison, the springs on these are plain coil springs that do not occupy the entire inside of the magazine, and have heavier spring tension. Whereas the Glock springs more rectangular. The Promag springs were so heavy that loading just the equivalent 10 rounds was approximately twice as difficult, or twice the spring tension. A major drawback was the thumb tabs. they are small and flush with the body, and very difficult to keep pressed down. The Glock tabs are much larger and have good serration for grip. By appearance at the feed lips they should feed the same, however, the Federal ammo I was using would not feed well, and there was enough drag to cause stove piped empties. I did not get this with the Glock mags using the same ammo. The Glock mags are single stack where the Promags are double, due to the 18 rnd capacity. This resulted in the cartridges' binding in the magazines. Had they stuck to a single stack, this may have been avoided. Over all, I would recommend that Glock 44 owners stick with factory magazines. I have Promags for other guns and they work just fine. Just not for this gun.
Needs to be redesigned
The return spring is round and just "flops" around under the follower. The spring should be rectangular. The load assist tabs are too small also. I attempted to use these several times, and they will not function in our Glock 44.
