Awesome Upper
This was my first DD upper I've purchased, overall highly impressed. Great fit and finish, paired with an FN M4 lower, which mated up perfectly. Rail and fsp was straight and rigid. Rear sight was tight and lines up perfectly with the fsp. Added a microbest bcg,lbe charging handle, and a birdcage flash hider. Mine also DID come with a sling mount at the 9 o'clock position as well. In the picture it does show a DD dust cover and mine was just a standard one, which I don't care as I feel like the sling mount is much more useful. Overall 5/5 for what I can see thus far without having taking it out yet.

Tank Upper
I could not be more please with the purchase. To complete my build i added DD bcg just to keep things simple with Radiant Arms vented ambi charging handle. Straped to a LMT Mars lower which is the tank version lower. Currently running it loud with CMT muzzle/brake and no red dot or optics. Havent figured out what I want yet. I love my build and its extremely fun to take to the range.

EXCELLENT FOR MY GWOT BLOCK II BUILD
Cannot reccomend enough. Daniel Defense says it all but the FSP is exactly what I needed to build out my GWOT Block II. Would not have purchased anywhere other than Brownells. Excellent customer service & ALWAYS running very good coupons & discounts. Brownells is the best.

Solid. Comes with QD mount!
Very, very solid stripped upper. Paired with a BCM BCG, Radian Raptor, and ASR brake. No complaints whatsoever. For those wondering, mine did come with a QD sling mount already mounted at the 9 o'clock position. It shows it in pictures but doesn't mention it being included (or not included, for that matter) in the description.

Best value
This is simply THE MOST SOLID upper I've ever handled. You can feel it in the construction. It has some weight, you know you can bang this around and it wont flinch. I think this is a better value than the nonstripped upper because you can put any muzzle device on it, or direct thread your suppressor. The complete upper has a pretty useless muzzle devicr if you plan to suppressor. THIS upper on the other hand, its ready for complete customization. Not a single issue, blem, or misalignment with rails. I recommend getting a QD flash hider muzzle device put on, SBRing a lower so you can run it as is without worrying, and picking up some plastic picatinny rail ladder covers off aliexpress. While you're at it, throw in a surefire clone for less than $100. Havent grouped shots at 100 yards but this is one of the best deals I've found over the past year looking for a nice upper. This is a solid starting point. Make sure you run a decent trigger, bcg, maybe a vented raptor charging handle if you can afford it. You wont be disappointed!

The best
Daniel Defense is the best. This is also the best place to buy this considering the price. Don't forget, you need a muzzle device to keep the OAL over 16 inches unless you have a SBR lower.

Makes the boys jealous.
All my friends love it and my brother is envious of it. I only bought it because it looks cool. Aesthetics is king. Yeah, it shoots great, but 90% of the battle is looking cool.

Unbelievably accurate with a red dot at 100 yards
Superb craftsmanship and detail. Finally got it out to the range today and was getting, for me, very good groups with a zero magnified Aimpoint red dot at 100 yards. Shooting supressed and it's a very soft shooting gun. Daniel Defense must almost assume people are going to shoot suppressed.

Needed a quad rail fsp for ... vibes
Couldn't beat the price. Handguard was ever so slightly canted, but easy to loosen and fix.
