Has one job only, but does it well

I needed this to change the handguard from the stock plastic to walnut on my M1A. Couldn't easily do it without these pliers. Worth it.

Works as it's designed

I removed my SOCOM 16's scout rail mount and bought a new hand guard without the cut out for the rail mount. Used these pliers to take clip off of orginal hand guard and place on new one. Very simple and easy process with these pliers, and they are very affordable!

Kinda cheap to cost so much

This is certainly a handy tool, however it is somewhat cheaply made and quite expensive what all that is really is But, glad Brownells had it. Not crazy about the emails or survery afterward so here ya go.

I used this tool for the first time yesterday and the tip on the shorter side appears to have snapped off. I have to say I did not examine the tool prior to using but it appears that most of the tip snapped off. For $43.00 I was expecting this to last for a while.
