This BCG looks awesome, and feels very slick right out of the package. Mine did come with the WMD logo engraved on the bolt also.
Excellect BCG
Built like a tank, pleasing to the eye, and easy to keep clean. The NiB coating not on,y looks good, it greatly adds to the inherent lubricity of the BCG. I will be buying another one soon. Highly recommended
Beautiful BCG
I've not put this BCG into service yet but out-of-the-box I am impressed with the beauty of the finish, the heft of the overall BCG, the attention to detail. My initial impression...I wish I had purchased the M16 NiB-X~ Bolt Carrier Group for my previous builds as well. Time will tell but I'm very appreciative of Brownells lifetime guarantee and their excellent Website making these purchases secure, convenient, worry free. I've done the searches and Brownells.com is a winner for selection, price, quality, shipping, customer service; they're worthy of our support!
good but could do better
This is really good quality, and looks very sharp. Went shooting and after, gave it a bath in some heavy duty cleaner. Got busy with other things and didn't get back to it for about a week. When I took it out, the coating was off giving the bolt carrier and firing pin a pitted appearance. I should've known better and considered the possibility it might happen, but didn't believe it would. Anyway, I upgraded cheaper with Brownell's version of a nickle boron coated bcg, and am happy with it. Can't speak for the durability of the Brownell's bcg but it works and it's cheaper. The trigger assembly that came with this wmd set felt gritty on the pull, so i upgraded with a trigger assembly from aero precision. This is a good product, but it just wasn't meant for me.
Survived Rifle School
Just put this to the test with a week long rifle school. First two days the bolt cleaned up and still looked almost new. By the end of day 5 the bolt (not carrier) had some darkening and was discolored. Despite the discoloration the Nibx is still on the bolt and it cleaned easily. Function is more important than looks and this BCG performed 100%. Would definitely purchase again. Probably close to 2k rounds in 5 days.
I like mine
I like mine. I just ran 500 rds threw it and it still cleaned up nice and ran smooth. I only paid 135 bucks for mine (with shipping) though.
Great product
Bought for my first build along with WMD upper. First time out was in a hurry and forgot to lubricate the bolt area. It functioned flawlessly then and ever since. My next build will include this carrier group. Looks great, works great have found no negatives. I shoot regularly but not competitively.

Excellent so far
Have not fired yet. All tolerances seem to be correct. Brownells website though is a disaster. Cannot get in to my account, website reloads randomly. Very frustrating.

good quality item
I am pleased with the finish quality and that they put quality upgrades in it such as the one piece gas ring (McFarland style), and upgraded the extractor with an o-ring. The gas ring fits very tight, good seal. All surfaces are nib-x coated.
