Bolt
Perfect part
Cost effective BCG
This is the most cost effective light weight BCG that I have found on the market. This thing has worked in all of the AR-15 rifles and pistols I have put them into without any failures, (I now have 4 of these BCGs, but, have tried them in all 9 of my rifles/pistols), I also have adjustable gas blocks in all my rifles. They have Brownell’s lifetime guarantee, so how can you go wrong with this BCG.
Great upgrade
Reliable lightweight BCG that does what it says. In unison with adjustable gas blocks dm Armaspec scs it will change you shooting experince. Need to invest time in adjusting all these components together. But well worth the price. Highly recommend as I’m ordering two more to upgrade my other rifles.

I Own Two
I have three lightweight BCG groups and two are Brownells brand. The other a unit that costs more than double. All three run the same in my 18" rifles and all three like the same gas setting. The combo of the weight reduction, adjustable gas block, and multi stage comp make my 3Gun rifles very easy to control for double taps on paper and long range shooting. All three units now have 1000+ rounds and seem to be equal in performance and running as they did new. I like to run my gas setting very low in comp so having a clean BCG to throw in between stages means my rifle always runs. At this price its worth the extra investment.

Good to go!
I put off trying Brownell's light weight BCG because of all the side effects that can happen to the cycling. Well I decided to put together a light weight rifle using a Ballistic Advantage Hanson barrel with the pinned .625 gas block. I ordered this BCG in nitride and an adjustable gas block and gas tube from Brownell and took advantage of the free shipping. I checked the head space and it matched or exceed a BCM that I was also checking the barrell to. The pinned gas block was used along with a standard stock 3.0 ounce carbine buffer and a JP spring. Loaded 1 round in the mag to test fire and it ejected at 3:30 to 4 o'clock locking back on the magpul mag. Next test fired with 2 rounds and perfect results. No brass damage and solid primer strikes. Proceeded with the break in process and the last three shots of 40 rounds were a 1/2 inch group at 100 yards and #41 resulted in the demise of a ground hog. Could not be happier with my results and the performance of this product and the rifle weighs in at 5lbs 4 oz with out optics and did not need the adjustible gas block.

Great Bolt Carrier Group
Gives my AR a more premium feel, light weight and easy to install. I highly recommend. If you're on a budget and want to try a light weight bolt carrier group, don't hesitate, this is an excellent product.
Excellent Product
This BCG cured some reliability issues with a new 14.5” build I have been working on. (Welded muzzle device for compliance.) The bolt headspace was spot on. This BCG reduced some reciprocal weight aiding in its low perceived recoil and super flat shooting.
I like fast guns
I have ran this BCG for a few years now. It is paired up with an Odin works adjustable GB, A Taccom UL weight buffer and reduced poser spring and a Fortis Muzzle brake, adn all I can say is wow. My gun runs fast, flat and so far 100% reliable. I am sold on these and will get a few more.
