M16 5.56 BOLT CARRIER GROUP Reviews & Ratings

Complete, mil-spec assembly with bolt, bolt carrier, and firing pin ready to drop into the rifle or carbine upper of your choice. Each bolt assembly is high pressure tested and magnetic particle inspection tested to ensure it’s free from imperfections that can lead to premature failures. Properly staked gas key prevents gas leakage that can lead to short stroking. M16-style carrier on the black phosphate model has full-length shroud for tripping auto sear, so this carrier may be installed on full-auto law enforcement and military rifles. Carrier and gas key are chrome lined for smooth cycling and resistance to wear from hot combustion gases for years of dependable service.

SPECS: Steel, black parkerized finish. Fits mil-spec semi-auto and full-auto AR-15/M16 upper receiver chambered for .223/5.56mm.

Colt BCG is the standard others are judged by

I have gauged many Colt BCG's and they always meet spec..The 3 bores, gas key, screw torque, blots,etc are always within tolerance..Many other companies claim excellent but Colt is one of the few that does..

My favorite BCG

I have purchased two Colt BCG's. They are the new ones with the faint C marked on the side. I spec my bolt carriers with pin gauges and bore scopes. My two Colt BCG's have the smoothest and tightest machined and chromed line 3 bores of all my bolt carrier groups. The extractor has the famous Colt gold extractor spring. The length of both bolt carriers were perfect. Both gas keys have the tightest spec .180 for a tight seal to the gas tube. They are sealed and properly staked with the best fasteners made. Many high priced bolt carrier groups have pretty finishes but come up short with the internal machining and tolerances. The internal machining is what sets bolt carrier groups apart and Colt does it right. The bolt carrier group is the heart of the AR rifle and Colt makes the best I have seen.I can recommend Colt bolt carrier groups without hesitation..

A lot has been said about this manufacturer quality in the last several years , well the quality is there , Mpi tested , prof marked and performance proved , made in the USA with mil spec government standard materials and craftsmanship .

High quality BCG with a great finish

Running this in a BCM 11.5 upper and is one of the best quality BCG's I have used. Great value for the $.

Great bolt carrier assembly

I received my Colt bcg yesterday and the carrier is c marked and the bolt is MPC-A marked. The c is clear but the MPC-A is faint but there. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase!

Conference in the brand

Im assuming its an actual colt product. I only say that because their wasnt any labeling on the package or the item that would indicate the actual brand of the item. Looks good though LoL. Came in a sealed bag with a nice protective coating of oil. I havent used it yet too comment on its function.
