Ultra light stalking rifle
The Howa action is really slick, good trigger, quite accurate. I put it in a Stocky's carbon fibre stock with a 4x fixed power scope. The whole package weighs less than 5 pounds. Shooting Hornady 129gr Interlocks at 2550fps the +/- 3" point blank range is almost 250 yards, far past the typical range to take a deer here in the upper midwest. Easy to carry, a pleasure to shoot.

Perfect Action
I ordered this barreled action just for the action. Howa torques these barrels to over 200 fl lbs
If your going to be changing out barrels make sure you have a good action wrench that can take this load
I ordered a tool from a individual in Jacksonville and it was junk
Howa Mini 6.5 Grendel barreled action 22"
Howa mini 6.5 Grendel 22" barrelled action. Mine weighs 3 lb 12.4 oz. The magazine weighs 2.0 oz. So total weight 3 lb 14.4 oz (3.9 lb) which is slightly more than advertised. Contrary to several answers in the questions section, this does NOT come with a hinged floor plate. It comes with detachable plastic magazine. I'll still give it 5 stars for now, it seems well made. Bummer that Howa doesn't offer a hinged floor plate.

Got one about a month ago. Put a Boyd’s thumbhole stock on her and a good scope and loaded up some 90gr Speer TNT and 100gr Barnes TTSX with 4 different powders and headed to the range. Have many impressive groups at 100 yards to retry. Most groups were in the 1/2” range but best was a tiny 0.151” 4 shot group at 100 yards with 100gr TTSX, very impressive to say the least. I did replace the plastic bottom with metal one from DIP and added a GunBloke 1 1/2 pound spring kit and a Trident muzzle brake. Looking forward to her next group session.

Mini Howa barreled action if 6.5 Grendel. Great little project. Deer rifle thats accurate, light with no kick. 6.5 Grendel. Oregon Gunsmithing stock, Timney trigger and hinged floorplate from Jefferson Outdoor. Why Howa wont get rid of the crap plastic bottom plastic is crazy. Shipped fast. Brownells did good.
Howa Mini 6.5 Grendel
I just received my Stainless barreled action today. I like it a lot so far. The description says the muzzle is a 1/2-28 thread, but the thread on mine is 1/2-20. It isn't a deal breaker for me, but just wanted to let other buyers beware.
Does not come with bottom metal
I purchased the barreled action in February. The original pictures of the stainless version showed silver bottom metal. When I picked the action up from dealer the action came with plastic black trigger guard, mag well not metal not silver. I think the barreled action is good just Brownells miss represented the product.
Howa mini 6.5 grendel 20" S/S barreled action
It's advertised as having a 1/2-28 threaded barrel it's not. More like 1/2-20. Now I'm stuck trying to find an adapter. Did not even find one listed on Brownells. One other thing these are brand new barreled actions and come with the older style bottom metal. The one with the unprotected mag release. I know because I purchased a 6mm ARC complete rifle and it has the newer bottom metal. On a good note it is accurate.
No magazines for this cal. ANY WHERE !!!
DON'T BUY THIS RIFLE. Forget about getting a magazine. Have been looking for months and NO ONE has them, Howa does not even reply. Every online place shows out of stock, look before you buy this if you don't think this is true !!! If you find one and lose or brake the magazine you have a non gun.
