Howa Barreled Actuon
Put this on a chassis as a budget precision rifle. Butter smooth, and accurate to less than MOA. Great buy.

Great foundation for a solid rifle build
Got this in January along with an MDT stock and pieced together a great long range target rifle. Very pleased with the quality. I have only put 20rds down range but they were well under moa. This action is very smooth, and the rifle groups constantly. Trigger weight is light, the pull distance or weight doesn’t really bother me. I researched this against many off the shelf rifles and this is by far the best product in my opinion. Only thing I would’ve picked over this in the price range is a Tikka. Overall, I am very happy and believe this is more than capable of consistently hitting at 1k yards and beyond.

6.5 Creedmoor 24" heavy barreled action
I bought the barreled action during one of the 15% off sales in late '24. I replaced the trigger with a Jard and put it in a GRS Fenix stock. It has shot all my handloads sub MOA and my best group was 0.9" at 300 yards. The bore looks good through a borescope so for the money, it is hard to beat as it shoots about as well as my custom action/barrel rifles. Def thinking about the HB 20" .223.

Howa 1500 barreled action
The Howa 1500 barreled action is an excellent buy for building a rifle to suit your specific needs. The barrel is threaded to fit 1/2-28 muzzle devices, but finding one to match the barrel’s diameter may be a problem. The trigger supplied with this action has a significant amount of travel before it fires, and the pull weight cannot be adjusted due to the adjustment nut being covered with sealer. Another trigger such as a Timney would cure this flaw.

Excellent Purchase
I've always wanted to a Howa 1500 build. I finally executed and did not regret. I have shot 20 rounds 129gr Target ammo and had sub-MOA groups every time. Exactly what I was looking in this build.

Rougher action
Compared to my 2 other Weatherby Vanguards, which are essentially the same rifles, the action is nowhere near as smooth. Cleaned and lubricated but still just not that smooth feel. Hopefully it breaks in some and will feel a little better.
